And, I don't know if we played "Baby" by The Biebz in the game against GA or not, but if we did, what did you think? There's a video somewhere that someone posted of us against BHS, and I think at the 3:38-3:53 time frame you can hear it. It sounds pretty good if I may say so myself. :) But none of the fans ever expected us to play that. Not with the band director's strictness. I can post the link if you want? The title is something like, "Brunswick V.S. Wayne County 1" or some s*** like that.

And just another comment... The last competition we competed in, we won. So say what you want, but we have a certain standard of excellence we'd like to meet. Either we haven't meet it yet, or the director simply isn't ready... We'll still never field a messy show at competition.

@20Tj09 Dude I'd really like to know what band you're in, now that I know we've played you. Also, about your "Don't try to take shows we can't handle, yada yada yada" comment. We handled it quite nicely, this was by far not our greatest show, and we punished ours this year. hopefully I can get our Comp's show up on youtube.

oh i'm sure your bands are good no doubt. just no point in dissing GA cause they top yours. so please, make your remarks for your sadness on not going to GA.

what bands are you both in? if it is single A then i'm sorry for you. our show and music top yours and blow them out of the water. i'm sorry you have to dis us to get more pride for your bands. i trully feel sorry for you.

@912cal28son Hmm... All I'll say is that I'm not from a single A school, but, the school I'm from hasn't competed since 2006. Soo... Despite the fact that we haven't, I'll take more pride in the fact that we haven't tried to field a show we didn't feel that was up to par, unlike some schools that field... Well, look at this video! ;) GA was good this year, but the first time I saw them, my school sounded better. And if you want to know my school, we share a region, and you came to us this year.

This is... Eh, alright. MUCH better than during heir football season. They played poorly, and lacked any discipline in the stands. Overall... I say it's OKAY, not great, but okay. Whoever got 1st and 2nd, I hope, was much better than this. Or else you can't really say the competition was much..

@Chrissoworthy Nah, but I am from a school who has much more talent, MUCH more class, and we DEFINITELY played Children of Sanchez better than ya'll when it was a part of our show. This sounds better than it did that year during halftime of the game(s) I heard it at, don't get me wrong... However, your stand tunes have, and always will be, a pathetic mess. I've never heard anyone murder "Mortal Kombat" the way GA did. Trashy.

@20Tj09Apparantly your school doesn't have much class If they produce poor sports like yourself(: Who knows what year you are, but we do not trash our stand tunes. If anything, us playing stands tunes trashes you. We have some good friends that are single A bands. Once we get a video up of this years competition you'll see our improvements. Doesn't matter who put's us to shame, they're probably our friends^.- But we put you to shame good sir. Go skip in fields and listen to your Katy Perry haha

@Chrissoworthy You know, when I said all this, I wanted to be an ass. It's not that I went to a school that didn't like yours, well not really, I just didn't like Glynn Academy. But, I have actually seen GA since my comments, and you guys are the real deal. YEAH, I'm taking back what I said. I still think this video sucks, and I still don't really like it... Still, what I saw was good, no doubt.

As for the Tattnall comment... Well, a friend told me to say that. So I meant that one in good fun.

@20Tj09 Oh really? Couldn't tell, haha. Not dude it's cool. No since in hating a school you don't know very well? Unless it's valdosta, haha, total jerks at our last competition. As I said, we've improved more than most bands in a very short amount of time. A few years before me (Junior) both GA and BHS were at the bottom of the band food-chain. Now we're slowely making our way to the top, bands know who we are when you say Glynn Academy, haha. This years competition was the best in 30ish years.

@Chrissoworthy I agree. And I'm sorry if I still seem rude, I just pass judgment. Which isn't nice... BUT GA... GA is pretty nice now, I'll admit. They have improved since I was in school. Much louder, much cleaner. Not as much of a dread to see anymore, or hear in the stands. And as to where I did go... Wayne County. I like to think our show this year was... Good. Swell at points. We just never compete.

But I am sorry. You guys (GA) did handle that show pretty well. I'm just an ass! Haha.

@20Tj09 Nah, dude it's all good. Ahhh nice, waynes always a good band, the only thing I can say I truly hate about your band, Is your feet. Like 5 out of every 50 members had their feet together when they weren't marching. I actually had relatives go through wayne county high school. When we came to Wayne this year our show was maybe 50% as good as it got all year, We seriously tore up at competition. My mellophone section is LOUD haha. And will continue to be. @Chrissoworthy You know, a lot of people have actually told me that. The feet thing, I mean. And from what I've heard, that has been their biggest problem, and one of the reasons that they haven't been competing. I don't remember the 05-06' competition that they were Grand Champions, maybe East Georgia... I don't know, I'm not sure. That was my freshmen year though, and although they have been good, they're not at that level again. But I'd like to see a video from competition. :) That'd be cool.

@20Tj09 Yeah, I watch a lot of things like that, because competition is what I love, I love being flashy/loud and whipping out horn parts you honestly don't hear in a lot of marching bands. Feels good, and the pressure is a great confidence booster haha. You guys were really good this year, and haha yeah i'll wee what i can do about the video. Haha yeah we heard the bieb cover, I'm not a fan, but you guys played it really well:3 I like that you have a bassist too, that adds cool points lol

@Chrissoworthy Flashy is always good! No offense meant, but before GA couldn't do it very well. Now... Well, now y'all are a lot better, and flashy is going to be part of the GA specialty now I bet. :) Or so I hope. Haha. I say it not to be rude, but I think everyone in the region is glad both GA and BHS are better. It makes games a lot more fun, and no one wants to plug their ears. :P Haha. I kid, I kid! And thanks... I never thought we would cover it, but I love it. Especially in that video!

@Chrissoworthy And the bassist thing... To be honest, I think we copied that from good ole' Statesboro when I was a sophomore in HS. That was like... Four years ago. Lol. And I think at least, that we sound better with our one bassist then their two... That's my opinion, though. I never really liked any of their shoes, except for this year. I went to the Tattnall-Statesboro game, and at the end they played their show in the stands. "Pour Some Sugar On Me" makes a good stand tune. Haha. :P

oh i so miss being in the band when i was at GA...good to see that the terrors are still good. i was in the band from 1996-2000 and was the Drum Major for 2 years when Mr Cordell was the director...now those were the years...
