Flea Control : How to Make Homemade Dog Shampoo to Kill Fleas?

1 cup natural non-irritant soap (must be gentle soap eg. organic)

1 cup water (warm)

1 cup apple cider vinegar (can use white vinegar but apple cider is much better)

mix

1/3 cup glycerin

1 tbsp lavender oil (rosemary/eucalyptus/tea-tree oil are OK too!)

mix thoroughly

pour into an empty shampoo bottle.. lasts for ages and lathers up nice

NO pesticides, kills and repels most bugs, doesn't irritate skin and smells lovely!

plus the apple cider vinegar and oils keep the coat nice and shiny + soft

his first statement is absolutely NOT true! Homemade shampoo is not only effective, it doesnt put pesticide (POISEN) on your dog!! Dont listen to this douche, google it.

Sulfodene dog shampoo, available at WalMart, kills fleas on contact. I've been reading that vets recommend a bath with blue Dawn dishwashing liquid, which is supposed to kill fleas instantly. A vet once recommended to me that I spray my house with a solution of 1/4 Pinesol and 3/4 water, and it quickly killed the fleas in my house, so when I read about a lady who saved a dog that was covered with fleas & ticks by giving it a sponge bath with 1/16 Pinesol and 15/16 water, I knew it was true.
