  • this is definitely indicative of acid. lol

  • this is so cool! can your preserve the painting in any way? like paint on canvas with these indicators or something?

  • Hi Bigstrontium, Great vid but what I'm interested in is trying to capture this process. So...if I pour a thin layer of sodium hydroxide on a hard polyresin and sprinkle methyl blue/red over the thin layer of solution.....will it dry and capture the image. Or would the solution damage the resin?

  • that is proper beautiful :) reminded me of what im missing as i don't have a studio the now..just chilled me right out :)

  • that was peacefully beautiful...i loved it ^_^

  • thank you :)

  • Hi... I'm not a chemist but an illustrator. Can you give me a quick how-to for dummies on this?

  • Hello

    Hola ericadorn

Take an alkaline or acid solution and put different indicators (powder of Methylred, Merthylenblue, Phenolphtalein, Kongored and others ) in it. Best pictures you get if you work with a screen on a white ground. Ok? or you want more details? bigstrontium
