  • Great harp playing!

  • I absolutely love this! I've watched it about a dozen times now. I'd like to know if your harp player uses an alternate tuning on his harps.

  • Were you looking for your keys or your smokes? Hi Dan, the other Dan Whiteley is a monster mandolin player from Canada.

  • Well, here I am commenting again. I've watched some of your other cuts and they're definitely very good. But this cut -- wow.

It's that mystic intersection of musicianship, personality, and creativity wedded to an exceptional piece of musical material. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.

I have a feeling that I'll watch this cut a hundred times and enjoy it as much the hundredth time as I did the first time. Wow.

  • Always refreshing to see REAL musicians at their craft... Thanks, I'm an instant fan!

  • This is a great piece of work. Loved the song. Loved your interpretation.

I have a question about sound just out of curiosity. What types of microphones, brands, models, etc. are you using? They certainly helped you to produce a great sound.

  • the coolest canadians i know are the chowns

  • great playing guys. great energy.

thanks for the fantastic video. i'd give it a 10 but it only goes up to 5. too bad.

  • These guys are great at what they do and musically complement each other so well that it's kind of hard to get a read on their artistry individually! Fun to listen to if you don't get hung up on classifying them.

  • That Harmonica player is phenomenol!

  • whos john popper these guys should get a big ass record deal or something

  • Hotdoggie these boys can play!

  • I think he's playing a C harp in the key of G. So, cross harp, no special tuning. Check it out.

  • You are correct sir!

  • Jerome says he is playing 2nd position C harp

  • Awsome guys!

  • Jeez Louise! Was John Popper just off camera somewhere? Nice going. :)

  • I love that song. Great rendition. In Montréal soon?

  • I hope we get to play Montreal down the road. Love that city!

  • what key is this in?...I can seem to get it!

  • It`s in the key of G. It sounds like Jerome ( harp) is playing 1st position G and Joe ( banjo ) is in the mountain minor ( sawmill ) tuning gDGCD. I`m just thumping the bass back and forth from G and F with a lot of slaps. Hope that helps.
