yeah..............this is very cool indeed. just wondering what amp your using? it's great that your dog is into it too. believe it or not.... my bird (cockatiel) loves listening to me play my 6120ssu. (shame nobody else does)....

Well spotted! It was Linda Gail Lewis (Jerry Lee's sister for those who don't know). Played on the same bill as her last year so got her to sign it. Piano player I know by R & R legend all the same soI thought why not?! Playing on same bill as her again when she's over here at the end of March - looking 4ward to it. She's great.

Great guitar, but I think it's the player that makes it sound great. I played a 6120 myself recently and it sounded like a bloody sonic-warfare weapon - feedback and squealing with plenty of mud!

HA! It's not everyone's cuppa tea that's for sure! This is as much distortion as I'd ever use, otherwise the "sonic-warfare" thing is definately a problem. Nothing beats a 6120 though for clean rockabilly sounds

I 've got a Gretsch 6120 DSW too, but what is "sonic-warfare"? Never heard of it. Has it anything to do with the Dynasonics?

Hey. Thanks. They are d'arrio 10's. Just cos they're cheap online in packs of 3! Changed pretty regularly though as I reckon it's the best thing you can do to improve sound/keep a good sound
