I don't understand why everyone compares him to Bon Iver. Comparing James to Bon Iver is like comparing cars to horses. not that Bon Iver isn't good but james to me has a totally un-comprehensible skill set that trumps him.
would be a better singer if he`d come down just a bit in tone (octave)... i never heard a mono tune high pitched singer like this before. It isn`t good for that t fact. but it could be. he won`t change .i can tell....
Same. My friend posted "If I had a Boat" a few days ago on Facebook. Within a few hours, he was one of my favorite singers. That NEVER happens. This guy is phenomenal <3
