Not to mention you can't exactly upgrade them or get replaceable parts without having to pay a ridiculous profit to Apple. If you want to upgrade your Mac, you have to buy a whole new one. My friend recently lost his Mac due to water damage, the repair cost was going to cost $2500 for a computer he bought for $1500.

Used to be a PC user... and still use them at work... But I must admit I LOVE my new macbook air... It's slick and blazingly fast!!! Its a pretty different experience.... Much more user experience oriented. Seriously. Try it.

PC is like a sports car. You have to tune and customize it to your liking and really take car of it for it to function amazingly, and just be savvy on how to do so.
Mac is like a nice suburban car. It's there if you just want to use it and isn't really different from others in any way, but it's safe and you don't have to protect it as much.
The only thing wrong with this metaphor is that the PC costs less.

They can only do these ads because they are referring to 'Windows' as 'PC'. What they don't make clear is that (a) Macs *are* PCs and (b) PCs can run windows, mac, and linux. Windows home movies might be terrible but what about a Ubuntu home movie...
Linux works just as great as a Mac, and just like a Mac I cant play all the games I want. So once in a while I install windows on my machine until i get a virus then I put Linux back on. At work I use a Mac. and FYI,.. Mac crashes just as much as a PC. If only Linux was able to run Creative Suite and pc games I would only use Linux.
Mac does millions of things. Pc does billions... If u need something that Mac does, so pick it, because will be better, nicer and faster to do. Otherwise you will really need a pc.
A lot of people don't know this, but Microsoft actually has a special team of dedicated individuals that actually shares a lot of Windows ideas and feeds them to Mac. Both Apple and Microsoft like this idea. A lot of stubborn people keep saying that the over-priced Mac is better than Windows because they spent more money. It's ironic that some of that money goes to Windows due to the fact that part of Windows, at all times, is part of a Mac.

@lu0dde how bout u don't know what ur talking about theres more than editing pictures its a different operating system they each appeal to different people and games lol a mac has better graphics than any windows pc unless i think alienware which is especially for games mac 2011 new graphics cards are far better than 9/10 pc's
and macs have awesome specs and performance but are pricy but the quality is worth any penny not even close to as many problems and difficult to lose files

They can only do these ads because they are referring to 'Windows' as 'PC'. What they don't make clear is that (a) Macs *are* PCs and (b) PCs can run windows, mac, and linux. Windows home movies might be terrible but what about a Ubuntu home movie...

Linux works just as great as a Mac, and just like a Mac I cant play all the games I want. So once in a while I install windows on my machine until i get a virus then I put Linux back on. At work I use a Mac. and FYI,.. Mac crashes just as much as a PC. If only Linux was able to run Creative Suite and pc games I would only use Linux.

A lot of people don't know this, but Microsoft actually has a special team of dedicated individuals that actually shares a lot of Windows ideas and feeds them to Mac. Both Apple and Microsoft like this idea. A lot of stubborn people keep saying that the over-priced Mac is better than Windows because they spent more money. It's ironic that some of that money goes to Windows due to the fact that part of Windows, at all times, is part of a Mac.

@TheAleksandroid microsoft does have a dev team that makes apps for mac, i'm not sure if mac has a dev team for windows though, looks like it's kind of a one way road, but at least this way, microsoft and apple can remain friendly
