Ugggh. I HATE to admit it but you're right. Im torn between this video and the master track though. Both have parts that sound better. I do like hearing this dude play the little scale trills after the first and second minute in and I feel it sounds more on time the way he plays the gallop with 3 fingers but it is a tiny bit diff. than Harris' master track in some areas like 2:15 Steve throws in an open A before dropping to each lower note. I cant get the hang of the intro still though :(

i'm not too sure about the whole story, but my friend who's a big fan of iron maiden told me about it, but it got confusing, something about people leaving and eventually they all wanted to come back and ended up with 3 guitars.

not my point. if you listen to the first 2 albums the iron maiden guy is doing what any metal bass player would do, be the 3rd guitar. he played much better after that. this sounds a lor more like a 3rd guitar.
