My first car was an old GTO with the 389 4bbl it blew up the first month I had it...replaced it with a Catalina 421..put a 6 pack on it and wheeeee...I also later owned another GTO with the 389 amd it also blew up...believe me..I'm a Pontiac ( GTO ) fanatic but even I admit the 389 was a hand grenade. Good to see these guys using aftermarket PON Pon blocks.
