yes, if you fall from an abyss you die, and if the shadows take the girl you lose the game

You can also get turned to stone in the end battle, but, you probably won't. The Queen isn't that hard to beat :)

xDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD Im stupid to no limits. in European version, enemies of this lvl are infinite X_X the only way to defeat them is to hide with Yorda in a wall in which a block is stuck on, so shadows can't take her. I had to wait until shadows get bored and disappeared ten minutes later =D

wow the Euro version sounds pretty tough. I wouldn't mind giving it a try.

So that's why this walkthrough seemed a little bit easier to beat that the game I played... there are less shadows in the US version. I'd like to play it, since those shadows make me nervous through all the game. lol.

o.o That's odd. I have the European version too and I can just beat them away. They do keep coming but stop after reviving about 3 times.

I would love to play the Euro version sounds alot more challanging then the US version. I wish Sony would re-release Ico in HD with the Euro version included for the PS3, I'd buy that for sure.

@Bishiebe i have the euro version too.when i'm near those "statues", where u need yorda to go through, i can't just beat those damn shadows and so i walk near the statues with her and then she uses her power and goodbye shadows xD when there are no stautes around i can beat them

but, id feel so trapped with all of them surrounding me, and they creep me out! black, shadowy thingies that fly and run at u?? lol. do u ever feel tense during the game at some points?? i know during shadow of the colossus, i get tons of them, lolz. u've played it right? u know number 10? the on eby the geysers? i HTAE dat one lolz. that place freaks me out and its alwys hard to get the stupid colossus onto the geyser,lolz. imgoing to stop blabbing now, lolz.

yeah i always feel tense during the game those shadows creep me out too i wouldn't want to meet them in real life thats for sure lol. oh hated the 10th colossus too he's really tough to beat. lol thats ok blab all you want lol

lolz, id be terrified of all those fliyng things coming at me all at once. im not used to several enemies all at one time, lolz. im only used to the huge giant violent colossus's that try and swat me like a fly, lolz, and i think they're easier, lolz, but thats probably becuase im so used to playing SOTC, lolz. good playing so far, lolz!
