pretty good fish. The best i've caught on a top water was with a pop ar was a 8 1/2 pound bass at about 1:30 p.m. I was suprised it hit a top water that late in the day.

Where are you fishing in NJ? I wouldn't say the Bass are "huge" in NJ, but I've caught 3-4 pounders before in South Jersey.

yea i cought a few but usually i see everyone catching like 2 pound bass.. the biggest bass ive cought down here was probly around 7 pounds and sense then i havent seen any big ones

i use alot of scumfrogs....i like them. i cant complain cause i get alot of bass on them, even a few 5-6 pounders

i dont really like fishin frogs i mean.. on a nice calm day i will throw one out and ive gotten some good results but ide rather fish a spinner... nice fish...

i prefer using Spro Bronzeye Frog.

it has produced some very big bass for me.

Scum frogs are terrible spend some money on a real frog like a river2sea frog or a dean rojas or a furbit those r real frogs

I use Trophy Scum Frogs 99 percent of the time, and I catch a LOT of bass with them. You just neeed patience...and know how to use them. I actually modify them with an extra hook that is close to the body so it's still weedless.

bass dont have teeth their like lil tiny barbs they can cut through your first layer or two of skin but never could they make youi bleed... stick your hand in the mouyth of a big nasty northern and youll loose a finger tho

I'v actually had them make my thumb bleed, fished a 3 day tourney at Fork in Texas, (slot lake) caught so many that the combination of thier gritty teeth and the consistant wet on the thumb (dish water hands) after time it will make it bleed..but ofcourse not like an actual tooth of a pike..

Nice Video, Good Fish! The only thing is, you are taking a big risk, I have lost several fish in the past by grabbing at the line to lift them in the boat. I usually reach down and grab them by the lip or reel em up til' I get quickly swing him in the boat. Grabbing the Line will eventually lead to several line snaps. Not trying to be annoying or critical, just thought I would share a tip or two. Thanks, Good Fishing.
