  • I don't have the option to show package contents and I am running snow leopard 10.5.8

  • @Lijrobert make sure that your minecraft application is in the application folder of your finder. if u r right clicking on the minecraft application and it is on ur desktop or something, it will not work.

  • This is Awesome! Thanks man! Been searching for days trying to figure out how to get around the black screen. This definitely works with Mac 10.5.8 running Minecraft 1.6.6!

  • I have been trying to figure this out for a week - thank you!!!

  • Holy crap - this worked! I have been trying to figure this out for a week - thank you!!!

  • this does not work anymore...mods simply give me a black screen..any ideas?

  • @Langotriel1 hmm. i have had that problem too. usually, i just forgot to add the right version of modloader, audiomod, etc. if you are using modloader, go to your minecraft folder and look for a file called modloader.txt. this will tell you what has happened and if there has been any errors. if u see anything unusual, give me the message it says. if no modloader.txt, try re installing all components of the mod in another order.

  • @mrsteelersfan23 most likely, they have an old computer or a 32 bit graphics card. its a real bitch to deal with. the most I can use is too many items.

  • Does this actually work? Cuz it looked like u didint even do anything

  • @ac2bc2cod5 it definitely works. all your doing is changing around minecraft's java requirements or something like that. anyway, those numbers and java versions are very important and do fix it.

  • I dont have Java SE 6 and i have java updated and everything only got the JSE 5.0

  • @ThePSNinja Do you have 10.5.8?

  • @mrsteelersfan23 Yea, same one as yours... is yours intel or ppc? because mine is power pc

  • @ThePSNinja Mine's intel. That's probably the problem. If i were you, i'd try to find some tuts for ppc.

  • Thx man perfect ! i made it !!

thumbs up favorite and subscribed !! :)

  • @baldes No problem. Glad I could i could help!
