I feel very sorry for the actors who had to participate such a production.
Humans are not that evil and we can live without so much ego and fear to drive others.
There are so many beautiful parts in this production but main message is just so disappointing and depressing. There is nothing I like to pass on to children or next generation beside not to watch. Very sad.

I recently started watching this show and I instantly fell in love with it. I think Johnathan Rhys Meyers and Maria Doyle Kennedy are both beautiful people and wonderful in their portrayal of the royal couple.
I adored it! Burnings, boffings, beheadings and all! Haunting theme music and a gorgeous cast especially JRM and Henry Cavill and Natalie whom I found more bewitching than beautiful..

Such a high-quality production. I love the sound effect and spinning sword logo at 0:20, as well as the deep, resounding bass of the church organ at 1:07. The music is half this show for me. Will miss this show, but I can't wait for the Borgias.

Wow I think this opening is fantastic. It's very sophisticated and love the music and the ppls expression. i have watched alot of asian historical dramas/series and of course both of them give very diff feelings, very diff way of acting/customs. I love historical shows, although i've never seen this one, the opening has got me hooked.

I adored it! Burnings, boffings, beheadings and all! Haunting theme music and a gorgeous cast especially JRM and Henry Cavill and Natalie whom I found more bewitching than beautiful..

This series is absolutely stunning! As a high school child I used to bore myself to death during history classes... but now I am amazed by our european history. Amazing people! Thank you, HBO ;)

ahhhhhh this is my favorite show. all episodes on dvd. yes yes yes "what's the dogs name?" "woosley" ha. this cast is great. but i found myself disliking nathalie dormer because of the character she played. Ha, this show is too dominant in my life.

Such a high-quality production. I love the sound effect and spinning sword logo at 0:20, as well as the deep, resounding bass of the church organ at 1:07. The music is half this show for me. Will miss this show, but I can't wait for the Borgias.

yup...too bad the REAL henry the 8th was a cellulite ridden, ugly, pastyfaced, self indulgent asshole....and his children (including elizabeth I) if you can believe it, were even uglier than he was......of course they represented the english people well.....but this show was a great piece of fiction.....lol

Wow I think this opening is fantastic. It's very sophisticated and love the music and the ppls expression. i have watched alot of asian historical dramas/series and of course both of them give very diff feelings, very diff way of acting/customs. I love historical shows, although i've never seen this one, the opening has got me hooked.

If The Tudors were a secret society, if they were angered because Elizabeth flew straight, thus could have inadvertantly expoxed their crimes, and if they are trying to track her down and kill her in some left-over witch-craft massacre, then they need to know that this is no fairy tale, it takes more than a poisoned apple and she needs no Prince Charming. Innocence reigns supreme. There might be some new forces for them to contend with...
