Castlevania starts in the mid 15th century. According to game lore, Dracula rises every 100 years. Considering for all systems, there has been 37 adaptations of Castlevania, the latest game should have been in the 52nd century, and the current Belmont should be killing demons with laser rifles, and photon missiles. However, gaming lore doth lie, and I think Dracula rises about every 24 days, if the current timeline holds true. If that's the case, why waste the energy to kill him?

Really great soundtrack! There is virtually no song I don't like in Super Castlevania 4. They all bring something new to the table!

However, I must admit, when this song gets to the middle part, it gives an eerie tone, like hair-raising notes. But at the beginning part, it really doesn't give off a "scary" tune, more like a "you can do it! Keep fighting!" tune.

Still, it's a great song! Castlevania is awesome!

For a remake of the first Castlevania they did a SUPER job doing it. Its all classic...the character, the gameplay, the music...it was a superior version of castlevania. Unfortunately, this was probably the only game next to Symphony of the Night where a belmont had control over where he attacked, and in Symphony, the controls were a bit worse. But at least Richter had a few superman moves he could pull off...
