That cop is a dumb ass. Yes, marijuana is a gate way drug, but the reason it is is because of the prohibition of it. If it were legal, it would be much easier to keep out of the hands of children. Also, it is completely harmless. It is purer today then it was in the 60s and 70s, but all that means is it has a higher percentage of THC, which isn't harmful in the first place, so having more of it would do nothing but require you to smoke less which is a good thing..
