Man, I remember my uncle telling me about one of his most horrifying experiences in the war. It was a month after the teht offensive, and he'd been shipped out in the middle of the jungle. Good discussion, first of all, in europe they were VERY happy that american soldiers died for their freedom. Mind you, there was nothing to win for america, just the loss of many soldiers. Now look how far SK has come compared to N Korea. North Vietnam isn't as bad as North Korea only because the Stalinist influence died with Ho. We'll never know for sure whether the South Korean miracle could have been duplicated in South Vietnam but i would like to think so..

Man, I remember my uncle telling me about one of his most horrifying experiences in the war. It was a month after the teht offensive, and he'd been shipped out in the middle of the jungle. One by one his fellow soldiers were gunned down, leaving only him in the middle of nowhere. The night came quickly, and having had enough, he found a river to cross. He had almost made it out, well until... a Charlie closed in on him, my uncle attempting to surrender. The charlie then asked for tree fiddy.

Now look how far SK has come compared to N Korea. North Vietnam isn't as bad as North Korea only because the Stalinist influence died with Ho. We'll never know for sure whether the South Korean miracle could have been duplicated in South Vietnam but i would like to think so..

And BTW The majority of RICH WHITES in South Africa are all English and not the Afrikaners. My parents, same as with 99% other white parents in SA, WORKED DAMN HARD for what they had.
