  • Everything by Stars sounds the same. Which is to say: beautiful, touching, and incredibly moving.

  • everyone sitting here talking about the scene or "emo" people. maybe they werent meant for it to be emo or scene....maybe it was for you guys to understand the point of the photo...just saying not trying to start an argument.

  • why do people must associate these type of music with being emo? i told some of my friends that i like indie music that's not too happy sounding and i got labeled as emo. i dont get it.

  • everyones thinking too much.. relax and listen..

  • So uh... the girl actually sees herself as a guy in the mirror? Or is it the crossdressing guy can't see himself as a woman in the mirror because he knows under the clothes he's still a guy? And more importantly, what does it have to do with 2 people talking via personal adds?

  • **Stars

  • What the shower curtain?!

  • I guess they never met...

  • the awkward moment whent the top comments are the same.

  • Woah.. This song kind of.. Touched me. In a weird way.. I like it a lot though. Good job, Star.

  • really? the picture doesn't matter. listen to the god damn music.

  • this song has more of a "ready to settle down" age to it. meaning the heart ache in it is not the puppy love of some scene 17 year olds but that of 30 year olds who just want love like everyone else. which makes this song so much more meaningful. its not puppy love. the meaning changes a bit with the age category.

  • label the first one spam please.

  • I love how the top comment has more likes than the video. Also, just stfu about the whole scene kid thing, it's a picture which suitably expresses the general separation theme of the song and I guess a depressing tale of shattered hopes (because scene kids are depressing and emo). If you want a decent video w/o scene kids, make one. Also, are they separated by glass or is that just a really weirdly designed bathroom? If the first, good job on photoshop. if the second, fire the designer.

  • the scene kids..oh god..

    Either way, beautiful song.

  • isn't this song meant to be about older people and the whole internet isolation thing? NOT teenagers

  • I love this song :) Beautiful yet tragic...sorta

  • i think that this picture describes the song perfectly because they seem so close, even though they never meet. regardless of the fact that they are 'emo'.

  • it's cus this song knows no bounds =) Emo/Scene people still feel the same emotions as everyone else; songs like this aren't meant to be restricted by silly societal limitations <3

  • that's a spooky shower curtain

  • honestly, who gives a shit about the stupid picture choice? the song is awesome. lets all enjoy it :)

  • just letting everyone know that heavy means having baggage meaning family, work, past relationship problems, etc that follow her around

  • why does every1 assume shes fat when the say "sorry to be heavy but heavy is the cost" there talking about her problems!they said nothing about her being fat!

  • jesus, what's emo gotta do with this? you just ruined one of my fav songs ever :)

  • the girl is supposed to be fat and 'average'... this picture doesn't really work with the song...

  • @thetruthaboutorgans noone likes fat people, not even the Stars.

  • question...did you take that mirror pic? and if so is that dude in it named mark? (don't ask.)

  • guys.

they intended the "heavy" part to make the song into more of a mystery to the listeners.

  • maybe the picture has nothing to do with "emo" or "scene" you are just stereotyping.

  • I love this song. What do the scene kids have to do with it?

  • @badinfluences lol yeah

  • why must you associate this song with emo? The picture kinda ruins it.

  • @manvsfur0n they believe its about teenage angst or some thing like that

  • @manvsfur0n i think its kinda a cool pic

  • @manvsfur0n there scene not emo

  • @gleelovers1234 I think only they can say if they are scene or emo not you

  • wow this was bad

  • ='(

  • ich könnt auf der stelle losheulen ich lieb dieses lied so sehr es löst bei mir immer so liebeskummer aus <3

  • beautiful and so sad... absolutely love this track..

  • I love this song. It's beautiful.

  • whats this song about?

    anyone know?

  • i think that they met eachother on a profile site or something and then they call eachother and stuff and later they have a date but he doesn't show up. i'm not sure

  • This song is about a man who's looking for love so he writes a personal ad.

When the women replys he ends up making a date with her. She then sends a picture after the date was planned.

    He then stands her up.

    He was afraid.

    She had a "heavy" story.

And he was looking for something light.

  • such a sad story and song! =(

  • it's about a man trying to find someone with a dating profile..and someone does reply interested in him..and she tells him at first she isn't skinny but fat...and he still keeps talking to her and wants to meet her..but then he sees her face in a picture she sends...she tells him she not pretty either and he never shows up to their date..and in the end he is still looking for some one who is now not heavy...placing emphasis on why he is still single...he is too superficially focused...

  • not heavy as in fat, but "heavy" in sorrow. i thought it was fat, at first, but i've been listening to stars for awhile now..i doubt they'd discuss such a superficial topic. stars always has a deeper meaning.

  • yeah the heavy part is about sorrow. She's says that she's greaving over loss, then apologizes for being heavy as in sorry for bringing up such a sad topic, but that's what sorrow does to you.

  • yeah..i wasn't sure about the heavy at first either...because she says her address and then she says sorry to be heavy...that's what threw me off...ummmm and then i thought that the song is really addressing the superficial mentle state and what it causes between people...but i really just started to listen to the stars...so i'm just stating what the song throws at me personally...lol...thanks for clarification...the song makes sense to me but it helps with understanding it...

  • Wow, you completely misunderstood heavy.

  • you got it totally wrong..

    "stillenergy" is spot on

  • yeah...no i agreed as well...i just said what i thought at first that's all...didn't mean to seem other wise...

  • ahh kk yerr..lol

I didnt even remember posting that :P

  • mah...i checked my mail....

  • Lol at the photo you used since it was taken by a friend of a friend.

  • Awesome Song.

    Pure Amazing.
