  • It is a dream!

I like to work like you.

  • You're one lucky guy! What a cool job. Bet you'll get tons of records.

  • Hi...congratulations from the Czech Republic ♥

  • Like the Santa's factory for vintage music. Congrats man.

  • Nice!! Is this a plant producing limited releases on virgin vinyl? Vinyl seems to making a comeback in certain circles, heck, even Lady Gaga's latest can be had on vinyl. Nice job, I hope they are paying you well. Now you just need to graduate up into the mastering department.

  • Cool! A pressing plant. Great place to work. Those machines probably need regular service and maintenance.

  • WOW - You go from playing them to manufacturing them! I envy you!! A sincere congrats to your new job! Are they hiring? I'll move!

  • I did not know they still make those discs...

  • Niceee!

  • Your new job is awesome, Evan! My brother had a friend who worked for Cinram in the mid-1990's, and he got to take home lots of CDs that were considered rejects (yet were perfectly playable) from that plant. A nice fringe benefit! Hope you enjoy your new gig!

  • Totally awesome! Congrats!

  • If only they used pure, quiet vinyl in our country, or better yet, developed a new 21st century hi-tech low noise plastic to make records out of...

  • Is this the plant in Nashville, you have a dream job!

  • Oh, good!

Is it really your new job?

Wow, the truth I think you'll really enjoy.

    I wish you much success.

  • Fantastic... Let me know if they have anymore openings. I'd love to do that all day.:) JC

  • I sure hope the records don't have that much noise on them..

  • Nice to now vinyl disc are still around and USA made! In the good golden ages, good products where made in Gemany, US, Japan, UK, France, etc, they were qualty products. Now...

  • Mmmm, vinyl making machines. :-D

It's interesting that records are still being made. Did I see in the video that the records are being made as well as pressed?

I have seen before now, where the disc-making and pressing are done on seperate machines, i.e. the blanks are made in a factory, then supplied to a record company where they then press their recordings into the blanks. :-)

    -BoomBoxDeluxe.

  • @BoomBoxDeluxe there are no discs made ahead of time... the labels are placed on both sides of a puck of vinyl and the stampers and heat flatten them out into a flat 12" disc.

  • My son has the coolest gig ever. Awesome!

  • wow... A really cool job! Hope they press good music

  • That's way cool!!

  • Very interesting. But it's little noisy, i guess

  • I am jealous too!

  • I like it!

  • Oh I am so jealous...
