i love this movie! i love all three they are my most favorite movies ever but i wish the didnt change Evie in the third one.I think maria bello did a good job as her but two things i dont get or dont like:one:i dont see why they chose her when she didnt even look like Evie.two:once you change one of the charectors the whole movie changes!(im just glad brendan didnt quit);)

Imhotep doesn't even want her in this movie, he thinks she's his old lover, they wouldn't even be together to have 'more to talk about' as librarian and ancient egyptian cause he'd bring back his old gf into her body. and she'd be gone.

2-Some of Anck Su Namun's Ba -or Ka, I can never recall- stayed in Evy. So, technically Imhoptep did want a part of her. Also, while in my brain the 2nd movie DOESN'T EXIST -Alex irks me- you saw what Anck did at the end! The pain on Imhotep's face! Some old gf!

After 2 movies watching Rachel Weisz do such a perfect job u can't really imagine someone else taking over the role, less of all Maria Bello... And not only that but also it's quite a huge change going from an Egyptian theme to a Chinese theme, critics are saying (and I agree) that adding a new lead actress and new scenery on the same sequel might pretty much ruin The Mummy franchise, which is sad cuz the first 2 movies are amazing...

After 2 movies watching Rachel Weisz do such a perfect job u can't really imagine someone else taking over the role, less of all Maria Bello... And not only that but also it's quite a huge change going from an Egyptian theme to a Chinese theme, critics are saying (and I agree) that adding a new lead actress and new scenery on the same sequel might pretty much ruin The Mummy franchise, which is sad cuz the first 2 movies are amazing...

Thanks for the comments people. And i agree, i would like the movie much more if Evy was still Rachel Weisz, and well Maria Bello is not the best choice, at least for me. She's not that similar to Rachel.

Yeah, there will be a third one, and Brendan Fraser is going to take part again. But as Anibeli said Rachel Weisz is not coming this time, which is sad really. Just search in google The Mummy 3 and you'll find two good websites.

Brendan Fraser is a really good actor has he ever won any oscars he seems underrated in my point of view. He should have for school ties and with honors very good movies. I also saw the quiet american which was very good movie too. Very respectable work he does.
