@pontecanis Hi, i have found that there is a soap mad of an aluminum compound added to jet fuel that makes it easier to handle plane crash fuel spillage.  It reminds me of the Romans using lead cups to drink from. I'm not saying that there are no intentional chem-trails but this soap would account for much of the aluminum. Perhaps there are other soaps with barium used in the same manner. I am not trying to debunk anyone just sharing what I've found.

And, I hate to inform you, piston engines ARE quite capable of leaving contrails due to water vapor condensation at altitude, the same combustion-related phenomena you see from jets. And no, it is not due to engine stress and overwear, otherwise they would leave vapor trails, mostly oil blow-by, at ANY altitude. Did the B-17 contrails linger for hours, expand and make the sky overcast? There are elderly pilots who claim this never used to happen.

@kelhawk1 The duration of a contrail and the degree of spread depends on a number of factors: altitude, jetstream, fuel used, etc. Jet exhaust is much more persistent than piston exhaust--it is much hotter, contains a larger percentage of water vapor (kerosene vs gasoline), and jets fly much higher than piston-engined aircraft. If the aircraft is flying in the jetstream, the vapor trail will persist much longer than if it is flying across the jetstream, in which case the dispersion is faster.

What is even funnier is the claim that the "chemtrails" contain Barium and Strontium. Barium is so reactive with oxygen that it is never seen in a free form, but as a compound, which is INSOLUBLE. [Thus impossible for any human to absorb]. Strontium is another alkali metal which reacts vigorously with oxygen, turns yellow, and becomes strontium oxide. It is used in toothpate for sensitive teeth, and is treated in the body like calcium. Way to pay attention numbnuts!! Take about fucking idiots!
