I just got this and it's probably the best game on Wii (imo) for now. Superb fun and graphics in a game like this are not so important....gameplay however is king and here the Wii is master....awesome fun and I'm not even a big football fan.

it piss easy to play the only difficulty i found was the defending, but i have gt the hang of it now, and the passing system is the best and I am a PS3 fan and i think the passing is the much better

Make sure u go through the tutorial for 2 minutes at least

?? they are uping the graphics (not just a ps2 port now, proper wii graphics) and theyve said they want to fine tune the more advanced wii controls and concentrate on the online modes... sounds like itll be a lot better to me ;)

Jesus Christ there are so many stupid people on this Planet.Nintendo is the only company who actually made a next gen console.... They added masterful gameplay possibilities.Sony(Playstation­) and Microsoft (Xbox) only improved Graphics while the gameplay is almost the same as the consoles they had before. guys heres how you do tricks on pes wii...

its simple basically hold down the "C" button and shake the nunchuck frantically..and you will do a skill of somesort....the tricks can be random at times just gotta skake that nunckuk =]

my only gripe with this game is the online capability. i reckon it should give stats and rankings of opponents before you play like mario strike, and penalty points should be given to people who switch the console off when they are losing! god that winds me up! ive played 150 games online and lost 6

Um... Yea, you can get them, but in PES they always mess up the team names, so, here are a few transalations.

London FC - Chelsea

Man Red - Manchester United

Merseyside Red - Liverpool

North London - Arsenal

These are just a few, if you need all the transalations, search it up somewhere.

just wandering how the AI holds up. With all these intuitive controls i imagine it'd be a lot easier to pull apart AI defense. Does it turn into like 7:8 scores sort of thing because defence is shoddy? This game looks amazing and it may be flawed but like most things on the wii, they'll only get better. Changign subject now that the novelty is wearing off developers might start putting the controls to good use like in this game

Got this for my Wii, and I have to say the first couple of games wasn't too hot but once you get use to it, the game becomes slightly more tactical. More about team play rather than controlling a single player. You can get two players to man-mark an opponent. Get wingers to sprint down the wing. This is the kind of game play enhancement you want

I struggled with the defending at first too. A bit of advice: the drag and drop pressuring works much better for tackling than just tapping the A button. Save tapping the A button for tracking guys off the ball.

I've had this game since last Friday and it is without a doubt the best football game I've ever played and really pushes the series on.

i dont know if i love this game or hate it. as for attacking its great but defending is a joke. you press A on the player you want to tackle but all your players do is run With the player. you dont seem to be able to pick up loose balls, instead you get to watch your players just let the ball run past them. i also hate the shooting, . i hate the fact that i have a perfectly good nunchuk and control stick but they have been made redundent.

Once you get the hang of it the controls come natural and the arrows are not annoying, the only thing in your mind is setting up a strategy to be able to score. Okay. So it's an interesting way to play.But have any of you considered how it would fair in a multiplayer match ? 2v2 ? 3v3 ? Just imagine how messy the screen will look with so many colours and circles flooding the screen. I enjoy playing PES with friends around on multitab (PS2). It's fun.
