I'm about 62+ hours into the game with my main toon (Sword and Shield) and I have to say this is one of my more favorite "boss" encounters in the game so far. Even though it's pretty much just kill the mobs/dodge lightning, it felt creepy as all heck. Scary ghost of Palpatine's wife throwing lightning and shit.

I dont see how one drougr takes that many hits to kill even if its master. Not saying its a lie but it also looked like you had very low gear. Im level 38 and I havent even got to that boss yet.

I'm 25 with full daedric armor, 2 daedric daggers both of them upgraded and enchanted, and 1 daedric bow upgraded and enchanted and I think I still can't beat him

Use a stealth archer and you can clear that room in about 1 minute.300 bow damage with stealth perk x3=godly but it also makes the game boring.I'm starting a new game on master and not going to bother with smithing or enchanting and only limit myself to 50% all resistances

@nash3timemvp that's exactly what I did, no smithing/enchanting, only using armor I find rather than craft. Makes the game a lot more fun.

master difficulty was more of a joke in oblivion due to 100% chameleon, 100% reflect damage, 100% spell resistance.

intriguingly, you actually have to deliver the killing blow to her, or she will drop to one knee and start to recover. but the third time my minions beat her, she turned to ash.

it's great to see someone use a variety of approaches and to actually think about how to deal with the situation. hack and slash button mashing potion downing brutes are a dime a dozen. i had two dead thralls for this fight (the high level vampires you fight earlier on) and it was great to see the pyrotechnics as spells blazed back and forth between them and potema.

oh come on dude i know its a single player game and all but why not go inside the room and take potema and her draugrs liike a boss!. i did that. i died twice (MASTER DIFFICULTY IS A BYTCH IN THAT ROOM) it is difficult because her beam damages you AND takes away magica (im a imperial focusing on conjuration)
