wish that she was here to teach us everything she new about body building ,,or had wrote a book,,, love the way she looked ....too bad she's not here with us ..still love to see her perform, watch her videos ..the best american gladiator..
I wish she'd allowed herself THC therapy but society doesn't understand it yet. Also wished she would've wrote a book about female bodybuilding and yes about the hormones too. She was a real inspiration and was genetically gifted for this game.
I am devastated to hear of my friend Shelley's passing. I had lost track of her and had been trying to locate her for several years and now I hear she is gone. I am in mourning. Shelly was an amazing person. She taught me sign language and left a permanent impression on my life. I will miss her. My heart breaks for her family and her loved ones.
I am in shock,is she dead???? I didn't know.I was a big fan of her in the nineties.May god give her the peace she deserves.Rip dear Shelley.I'll never forget you.Love you always,a fan for life.Richard
Not surprised she won. She was an incredible beauty and I'm sure that announcer was honest and meant every word he said ! He successfully predicted her win. With having lost her now, in '08, clips and memories like this make the memories of her life all the more meaningful. RIP
we will always have the photo and video and the memory of shelley beattie. thank you siren for all that you have given us the fans over the years and we should continue to carry it beyond. if we did it for kay baxter we can do it for her as well she will also be a hall of famer as well. R.I.P

Sad to hear of her death. One of the most genetically gifted women to ever pick up a dumbell. Gorgeous woman. Amazing body! RIP
