Yeah, it's totally removed. They sand it off. It doesn't hurt, but it just feels really weird. Imagine taking sandpaper to your teeth.

Nothing hurt for me. It just felt kinda weird when they were cleaning off the glue. It's pretty quick.

Congrats. Your teeth are going to feel really slimy and gross, but... in a good way, i guess. It's nice, but your gums might be swollen for a couple of weeks.

It's probably the most painless part of braces. You just have to open your mouth for a little bit and the worst part is when they sand off the cement and that's not that bad. It ends there, too. You don't feel any pain afterward.

They use just the cement-glue to attach the little brackets on and a drill-sander thing to file it off.

It's not that it hurt, but it was super duper uncomfortable. They put that huge spit-sucky-thing in your mouth for about a lifetime and it forces your tongue back so it's hard to breath. And all that cement sanding just sounds painful... not fun. The hurty part comes after you get them on. That was the worst. It kept me up all night.

That was great Brett. I've never seen braces removed before. I know how gross those molds are I had them done when I got my TMJ Appliance. As well as every time I get a crown which I will be getting in a couple of week. Keep those blogs coming.
