Im going try this ive done everything from clean my ps3, use its defualt fan, to vacuuming all the dust out of the ps3, I even went as far as to take apart my ps3 and clean the blu ray lens if  this doesnt work then its going to sony!

@TheNightmareize I've been having this problem ever since black ops and I took my PS3 in for repairs and the guy said the laser is about to die. I've owned my ps3 for 3 years I guess it's time for a new slim one. The best option for you guys would be paying a local repair place around $80 for repairs for replacing the laser. Sure beats paying sony for there weak lasers and I think the waiting time for your replacement is up to 4 weeks or more.

I just don't fucking understand how can the lens perfectly read my games time and time again but it stops loading the disks after a few minutes?? Mines is doing this thing where it will work fine for around 30mins then in call of duty the voices will dissappear the game will continue however without some sound then after the game is over and a loading screen appears it freezes and i have to shut down the whole ps3. Same thing happens in fifa. after around 30 mins the commentary goes then i cant bring up the menu and after the full time whistle . ps3 freezes any ideas ?

@ivanburrito Thanks mate. I just got it repaired. the laser had died out because of some internal circuitry problem. got the laser changed and the circuitry done . I guess your laser had died out too. good thing you still have warranty. Sony will take care of that. for me I had to spent the cash I saved up for Resistance 3.
