phrase don't sound like a uk artist, he's as aussie as they come, infact, if you would listen to his whole album you would hear a track called 'im here now' which as a uk artist rapping with him called 'mistro'. the different accents is obvious. And as for NZ accent, you guys pretty much got the same accent as aussies with a few noticeable differences... like how you pronounce 'i's' as 'u's' (fush and chups) lol.

So why do nz rappers rap with an american accent? they should sound similiar to aussie rappers if they were rapping with their own accent.

I too use to rap with an american accent without even noticeing until i got dissed for sounding half american/half aussie in my tracks, then i realised that i had to do something about it, when you realised it and listened back to my tracks, i agreed to myself that it sounded like shit.

At first i wasnt too impressed, listening to it again after his exclusive myspace clip. It actually fills in the gap that personally i think the industry doesnt have enough of. New unqiue pro sounding beat, the hook nicely rounds off my hearing, scribes verse is tight, especially metaphorically speaking such as sick as a hospital. I dont know too much of Phrase but i thought the lyrical content was too overly gangsta... still good though. Just some of my insight saying its an overall killa trak.
