  • Very well done, and it makes a good point. Great video! :)

  • Comment removed

  • You could have at least spared us and filmed this without the last couple.

  • @ilazernerd spared us what?

  • @smallz1721 Fuck off.

  • BEAUTIFUL ! <3

  • I saw a tattoo that said "Thou shalt not lie with a man, as you would with a woman: it is an abomination. -Leviticus 18:22" He failed to read THE NEXT CHAPTER, "Ye shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor print any marks upon you: I am the LORD -Leviticus 19:28". I guess the only verses that matter are the ones that promote his homophobia.

  • I love this video!

  • wonderful! I love it! Funny, exactly right, and to the point!

  • great

  • Where is that love button?!?!?!?

  • look like we have 78 homophobic here

  • @ngunhungthongminh88 Or...78 people had glitches and they actually sent a dislike without meaning too...

  • Same sex marriage is not traditional? Not all traditions are worth keeping. Love, trust and equality, shouldn't these be our traditions?

  • There was a reason for the New Testament....get your facts right.

  • the two guys at the end were adorible!!

  • "We're an army of dicks with a militant stance! Let's get the government out of our lives and into our pants! Defenders of marriage, defending the institution against people who wanna get married!"

  • I'm a Christian and I believe that the government should have NO RIGHT to tell anyone who they can marry. No one should be able to tell people who they have a right to fall in love with. Love is love no matter who it's between.

  • @cheryld01 Respect for choosing morality over tradition.

  • @cheryld01 Yes that's exactly what the government needs to do. Because marriage is a legal state, and laws pertain to government. If there were no laws surrounding marriage, you could marry a parking meter and just say you loved it.

I understand the point you're trying to make, but you didn't make it well. Religion needs to stay out of the marriages of people who aren't of that religion.

Marriage is a partnership contract between 2 consenting adults. Religious marriage is something diffrnt

  • @frankvonfrauner You just disproved your own argument though. If marriage is something of consent, then how can someone marry a parking meter. You can't say it gave consent, and it can't give consent.

  • This was AMAZING!!! I LOVED IT!

  • GOOD YES

  • Great vid, Couldnt agree more, It baffles me how people can still promote redundant traditions 2000+ years old. think its time for some people to catch up or be left behind, but Im sure their currently figuring that out for themselves.

  • What a pussy he didn't even save his girlfriend

  • Oh my God. great video

    I love it !!!!

  • The subtleties aren't lost on me, that's for sure. I wonder who the 129,000 current viewers include.

  • @GBlair1 LoL was that a joke at DADT? It's over dear. Homophobia will soon be over all together, how pathetic of you to try to make it stay.

  • THERE ARE GAY PEOPLE IN THE WORLD!!!

THE SOONER YOU GET OVER THAT FACT, THE EASIER IT WILL BE TO LIVE YOUR LIFE!!!

  • I didn't have room to write anything else, but for your information, "eunuchs" does NOT mean "homosexuals." You're buying into the homosexual agenda's propaganda and their perverted definition of the word, probably because you're homosexual and that is what you desperately want the word to mean. Jesus was clearly speaking of those who do not participate in sexual relations. There is absolutely nothing to suggest that "eunuchs" means homosexuals. No offense, though. Take care.

  • Matthew 19:4 And He (Jesus) answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female, 5 And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh? 6 Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder. (Sorry, Satan, but just as you lost the battle in heaven and got cast out, you lose again!)

  • @GBlair1 Hey, you stopped the quote a little soon. It goes on to talk about how that can't be applied to everyone and goes on to talk about enruchs (I know I spelled it wrong >_<) and such. Go dig your nose in the Bible a little more again. ;D

  • @RawrJoshyBoy Prov 4:7 Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding. Nowhere in the Bible is homosexuality condoned. However Christians are not concerned about specific sins. Mankind has free will to choose. "Matt 13:30 Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn." KJV quotes

  • Stupid video

  • such a shame. of all people i would hope the pro gay movement would be better than to mock or ridicule things because they don't understand them.

  • shut up.

  • @scienceatheism this, ladies and gentlemen is an individual poorly representing his cause. "shut up" does not prove his point. "shut up" does not disprove my point. "shut up" shows a lack of tolerance and consideration for open discussion.

  • are you anti gay?

  • @scienceatheism the second resort after attempt to silence an opponent is to make rash accusations against them. No I'm not anti gay. why are you attacking me?

  • did i accuse you of anything? im sorry i didnt realize asking a question is automatically suggesting that you are the very thing i questioned you about. With that logic might as well ask this question are you Optimus Prime? and im not attacking you. i just said shut up. that is all you act like i started cussing you out and shit, if i attacked you you will know.

  • @scienceatheism You have "science" and "atheism" in your name. This makes you automatically an antagonist in the eyes of any theist. See, everything theists need to know, they learn from the bible and movies. Science isn't in the bible, but it is in movies; it takes the form of evil men with German or British accents bent on taking over the world and oppressing everyone. And atheist, well, that's just synonymous with "Agent of Satan" so I'm sure you can understand his stupidity.

  • and you dont think jesussaves or islamisnumber1 is antagonistic towards anti theists and or atheists? HAHAHA oh i see so anyone who disagrees with what you believe is an agent of satan even though atheists dont believe in satan? Thats real cute. Hateful yet condescending, spiteful yet patronizing, its amazing you can have that much hate in such a little human theist body. and lets see who is taking over the world how many scienctists rule a country and how many theists do? lets compare.

  • @scienceatheism Apparently your sarcasm detector is broken. Note the sarcasm in statements like "everything theists need to know they learn from the bible and movies". Or "Science isn't in the bible, but it isn movies; it takes the form of evil men with German or British accents bent on taking over the world"... Hello, I'm talking about the false perception of science in movies and where I think theists get the idea that scientists are evil.

I'm on your side, I was simply being facetious.

  • i dont know if there is a sarcasm detector on the internet and if there is thats news to me.

  • @luccaskunk you also missed the part where i said "so I'm sure you can understand his stupidity"... Seriously, either you didn't read what I said and jumped to conconclusions or your sarcasm detector is badly in need of repair.

  • Let me get this straight. Someone is intolerant and closed minded who bases their ideas on verifiable facts and evidence, regardless of how inconvenient those facts and evidence are saying that without a good reason to oppress homosexuals they should not be oppressed. Yet someone is open minded who chooses to oppress homosexuals without any real justification besides a dusty old book saying so or appealing to tradition and whatnot. That seems kind of backwards to me.

  • @luccaskunk I never said the point of view is intolerant. This video is intolerant.

  • @trevoredring The video is intolerant? Of what exactly?

  • @luccaskunk it's mocking other people's world views and lifestyles because they dont understand them or agree with them. I dont believe people should judge people who want to marry someone of the same gender, but I dont think that people should mock those who follow a tradition they were raised to embrace.

  • @trevoredring then you're entirely missing the message the video is giving and taking it out of context. This video is saying that not only is it true that not all traditions are worth keeping, but it wouldn't be the first time that a tradition regarding marriage has been discarded.

  • @luccaskunk well sure, i agree on that. i'm not criticizing the message. i'm just saying the way they went about it is not sensitive to other people's views and lifestyles; something the gay and lesbian movement is usually very considerate about.

  • @trevoredring Well, they're right, the "traditional marriage" people are very inconsiderate about other peoples views, lifestyles, and rights. Without even invoking any actual gay rights movement organization, the Episcopal Church for instance has allowed gay marriages to be performed for almost 20 years now. However, they've been extremely limited in how often they can actually perform such marriage because of the traditional marriage folks.

  • @trevoredring So yeah, this whole "traditional marriage" nonsense is infringing on peoples religious rights. There are not just religions but Christian churches whose RELIGIOUS rights are being stepped on in the name of tradition. What's worse, the First Amendment even states that the government is not allowed to pass a law respecting or prohibiting any one particular religion. So because of that, and because anti-gay-marriage laws prohibit the free exercise of religion, they need to go.

  • @luccaskunk man i'm getting tired of this conversation. I DONT DISAGREE WITH YOU! i'm not saying anything against the point of the video, i'm just saying the manor in which they make their point is mocking other people's lifestyle choices. please somebody tell me if i'm not making sense. i thought this was a fairly simple concept.

  • @trevoredring Obviously you DO disagree because I don't think they're mocking anyone's lifestyle choice. Oppression of basic human rights and refusing someone's right to exist and be happy is not a "lifestyle choice". It is bigotry and that deserves to be ridiculed.

The problem here is that you're trying to give oppression card to the majority. I'm reminded of a pie chart which showed Christians taking up about 75% of the pie and saying "help help, we're being oppressed".

  • @luccaskunk yes, they are mocking traditional views and cultural traditions from about 4 different continents. ( and not just Christians) "if you don't have the same progressive views we do you're backwards and ignorant as barbarians that sacrifice women who have sex before marriage"

this has nothing to do with numbers or percentages or minorities. why is something right because it's a minority view? you cant mock and ridicule someone else's views and then preach tolerance. it's hypocrisy.

  • @trevoredring Yes, they're mocking traditions, NOT lifestyle choices. HUGE DIFFERENCE. In addition, traditions which stand in the way of human rights deserve to be ridiculed. They are also mocking the traditions, not the people who follow them. In addition, all of the traditions being mocked are no longer traditions. They stopped being traditions a very long time ago. So basically they're mocking DEAD TRADITIONS.

  • @trevoredring And I never said that something is right because it has a minority view. Stop putting words in my mouth. What I said is that in a democratic society, a small minority cannot oppress the vast majority. So the vast majority cannot play the oppression card when the small minority fights for equal rights.

The video is also pointing out that traditions can and do change, especially when the traditions become outdated and no longer serve the same purpose in society that they used to.

  • @luccaskunk i never said they were oppressed. i said they were ridiculed and mocked. stop putting words in my mouth.

  • @trevoredring Same damned thing if you're making claims that it isn't fair. Besides, there are no traditions still in practice being mocked in this video. The only thing modern being rediciuled or mocked is the idea that the loaw should be used to force specific traditions upon those who do not consent to it. Anyone who would try to pass legislation to force a tradition upon those who do not consent to that tradition are scum and deserve to be mocked.

  • @trevoredring As the video only mocks the use of legislation to force oppressive traditions on people, your indignation is either caused by some sort of need to oppress gays that you won't admit even to yourself, or a need to find some reason to be indignant. Either way, you need to rethink your priorities. I'm not going to stand here and listen to either closeted bigotry or you being an "Our Lady of Intense Suffering" who is constantly persecuted by everyone, even when they're not.

  • @luccaskunk wow. i'm really tired of you attacking me because i'm advocating intellectual dialogue over mockery and condemnation. i never said anyone was oppressed. you cant have productive conversation where one person is mocking or ridiculing the other personally instead of giving positive insight to the to the discussion, which is kind of ironic considering you've accused me multiple times of being a homophobe and a bigot when my argument was not with you but the content of the video.

  • @trevoredring 1: I'm attacking you because you're insisting on pretending like you're being persecuted and for defending the tradition of oppressing a minority group. "Oh, oppression and denial of rights is tradition. Therefore anyone mocking it is mocking a lifestyle choice." Do you have ANY idea how not only bigoted by insipid that makes you sound?

2: You're not "giving insight into the discussion". What you're doing exhibiting a pathos and persecution complex.

  • @trevoredring 3: You failed to address any points I raised and then act like my growing annoyance with your dodging the issues I've raised with your position. Then you talk about blocking me? Yeah, way to go there Mr I Want To Have A Conversation.

  • @trevoredring And yes, I know you didn't really block me, because nobody who gloats about blocking ever *ever* actually does it. They prefer to sit back and watch the person's response.

I for one never block anyone because, no matter how insipid people are, I value freedom of speech and know that it's entirely too easy to block rather than actually have my views challenged or put to the test. Chew on that for a while.

  • @luccaskunk yell and scream all you want from here out. i'm sick of your anger and i'm blocking you so i dont get any more of your offensive messages.

  • SO DUMB.

  • A piece of work.. brilliant

  • to the point !!!!

  • What the government can give, the government can take it away. Get government out of marriage!!!

  • Why are we fighting to get government to recognize our marriages? What the government can give the government can take away. We need to change the debate to Get government out of marriage! That is how true equality will form. The only way to put people above or below others is through the force of the government. Lets take that power away from them and take back our freedom to choose without governments permission.

  • Thank you so much! Been with my partner 15 years. Love is never wrong! Keep the love coming.

  • The video, while not realistic, shows some of the absurdities that have happened throughout the ages when government controls marriage. Let's get government out of marriage altogether, instead of fighting each other about whose definition of marriage is the one that deserves to be enforced on everyone. Government free marriage now!

  • All traditions are stupid.

  • "Did you bring your own rock or will you be needing one of ours." That's just hilarious.

  • Really nice video.. not all traditions worth it .. if they do , why don't ban and hit with rock to any unfaithtful man or woman?

  • ROFL, ROFL, my favorite part was at the beginning when she went:

    *fake grin* "okey dokey"

    ROFL.

  • like like like like like

  • nice one

  • It's in the bible...I'll be needing one of your rocks. LOL!

  • I love this video.

  • it would be good... if the clip played for MORE than 18 seconds.... then just freezes...

  • OMG the humor is NOT lost on me, being a LESBIAN and all. You know...I"m one of those people that can't marry my partner of over 7 years...longer than most heterosexual marriages even LAST these days. This video is about as awesome as they come. =D

  • RIP Prop 8! WOHOO!

  • @timbearcub well apart from the appeals...and Supreme Court maybe. Sigh.

  • I love how she slaps his hand...

  • @Teedy247 We do see the true light of Jesus Christ. And Jesus never said ANYTHING about going against same sex relations, marriage, or even attraction. For the first four centuries homosexual Christian weddings were performed openly. And as a little tongue in cheek comment....Jesus did have a lot of male company (12 to be exact).

  • @ronoc9

lol, thumbs up for implying jesus was gay...

  • @EnveeH2 just saying. sure the most qouted reference that claims jesus was against gay marriage is taken out of context. in context he's taking about divorce.

  • @ronoc9 And where did you get this info? That for the first four centuries homosexual Christian weddings were performed openly? (I need to know.) Please remove your tongue from your cheek and tell me plainly if you are you suggesting that Jesus was a homosexual. (just curious, no real need to know.) I have a lot of female company, more than 12 but I am not homosexual.

  • @mistymi 1. The 12 apostle thing was a joke. Of course you can't have ur sexuality determined by who u hang around more.

    2. It doesn't matter if Jesus was gay or straight.

    3. The information is in a documentary called "For the Bible tells me so". It was also covered by Jim Duffy in an article in August 1998. Youtube doesn't allow links in comments (they see it as spam irregardless) so sadly I can't send you the links here.

I'm sorry if I came across a bit cheeky in the comment u replied to :)

  • @ronoc9 Actually I was only interested if there was some real info on homosexual marriages being performed. I didn't think the rest was serious. That is why I sad there was no real need to know. I didn't take those comments serioulsy. I thought the tongue in cheek was cute so I asked you to remove it. Sorry if I came across as being for real on that. I apologize for that. I am going to stop posting on youtube because although YOU didn't go crazy on me, some appear a bit in the deep.

  • @mistymi oh no, dont do that, lol. Sorry but its just usually any comments I get about gay marriage is always "BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH UR WRONG! UR A FAGGOT! DIE!" and stuff like that. And sure I get those comments all the time. The only thing you can do is make sure u have facts and references. Sorry again that I can't give direct links but Youtube has a programm that sees ALL links as spam. That's why people say "check my channel" or "watch=567hg" like that.

  • @ronoc9 Really? If so that's awesome, but I've never heard that before. Care to give a source?

  • @ronoc9 You obviously weren't paying attention to the rest of the Bible I take it?

  • @robinhood01 no, just the part that actually matter. You know, the parts were Jesus actually talked about how flawed the Bible is and the fact that's actually the reason he was killed, and the fact that the Bible isn;t a book but a collection of books with recorded evidence that other books were suggested but never accepted. You know, that part most people skip over just so they can gay bash and not feel guilty.

  • @ronoc9 Do you understand what cognitive dissonance is? You're suffering from it badly. Jesus said the bible was flawed? Where'd you read that?

  • @Teedy247

There's nothing misleading about this. This is how stuff worked back in the day (admittedly, though, this is an amalgamation of different cultures).

But you go ahead and keep spouting bullshit about "traditional" marriage, even though "traditional" only refers to 1950 and up.

  • @Teedy247

    1. What's misleading about it?

    2. lurn 2 gramer

  • hhahaha this is great

Well, you wouldn't want to go against tradition, now would you?

  • Comment removed

  • This is fantastic!

I wish I could have seen this and spread it around during the whole prop 8 ordeal in Ca. Such a shame.

I can't stand when people ignore the other traditions we've rid ourselves of.

One not mentioned in the video: interracial couples! can now marry freely!

    Again, great video.

  • Also God said this is the reason they did'nt want to acknowlge God for who he is, They wanted to change the truth of God into a lie, For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections; for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature. Their men also, leaving the natural use of a woman, burned in their own (LUST) Not love one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly. So God gave them up to a reprobate mind. Becuz they did'nt want to change.

  • No its not saying that at all MsBREATHOFLIFE. Its saying that if you want to obey the Bible is the protection of marriage to keep it in the grounds of heterosexuals... thats fine. BUT do not be ignorant and think their are no laws for heterosexuals in marriages and being a virgin is one of them.

  • @Insanity88 U know I did'nt say that a woman should'nt be a virgin, in this day and time, their are very few virgins. The reason God told the men to marry a virgin then was becuz of sexualy transmitted diseases. Even the men where to be virgins, but that was few and inbetween. I do know that they did'nt have chasitybelts.

  • @Insanity88 U know u didn't explain this right? I know what she said and I heard what she said. She is saying they practise the O/T law. She told the man to look it up and find it. It's in there somewhere. We should know to keep marriage between each other. But if person isn't following Christ they will do what they want. I'm not saying that every Christian is right, but God will 4give. Jesus told the adulter to go and sin no more. He didn't have her stoned.

  • In other words California and Prop 8 supporters are being hypocrites You want to vote for prop 8 fine but I better see a bill that follows EVERY biblical marriage law then! That is what the video says not making a "sin" good.

  • @Insanity88 I don't know about the Prop 8 thing, sorry about that. I will look it up I'm sorry I don't understand this at all. The video was saying more than this. It seemed they where making fun of the law of the O/T. about the virgin part. The men of that day would'nt take another mans wife to see if she was a virgin or not. If that was done that man would have been stoned. Not the women. And I did'nt care much for the ending.

  • @MsBREATHOFLIFE no dear they are not making fun of the OT laws they are showing us of what would have happened during the times of writing the bible. Making fun of the Christian religion or the Bible is far from their goal. Of course not but those were the traditions back then. Marriage had a much more straining laws then than they did back then.

  • @Insanity88 I know what my eyes see and what my ears hear. The women said that the practise of stoning was done in the O/T. She told him to look it up for himself. She could'nt even find it. Not knowing that the ppl could'nt live by the law any way. This is the reason Jesus came. Even when the woman who was caught in adultery, he said those who committed no sin to cast the first stone. Jesus didn't go by the old tradition.

  • @Insanity88 Yes they where making fun, they did indeed stone ppl, if they where caught in adultery, or if a man raped the women & she didn't scream both where stoned. This was law. This is why Jesus came to change what the law could'nt do. Back then 3 thousand was killed becuz of law. But whenJesus came 3 thousand where saved. This still looks like the day of tribulation. and they took the number.

  • Same sex marriages is not right, God said one man one women, not two men or women. If God changed his mind which I know that he did'nt, he would have to repent to S/G for there acts of Sodmie, sence he did'nt change his mind same sex is still a sin. What u are saying is this, just say evil is good, and good is evil. Change the way things where to what u want today. It Won't work,

  • Then they would also know that Jesus was coming to change the way the law was done in the O/T. Paul said the letter kills which was the Law, But Jesus made a better way for us. They lived under law we live under Grace. The women who was the head star was like the Pharsees, Hyprocirtes she could care less of how they lived. She looked like the ppl who took the mark of the beast. And she acted like it.

  • If ppl knew that stoneing is not done in this day and time this vid has nothing to do with keeping yrself from sexaul sins. But if they are saying that the Levitaucal law still stands today. They would have made a very big mistake. For one thing when the women was caught in adultery, they took the women not the man to Jesus for stoneing. Jesus said of course the one without sin throw the first stone.

  • This is a very funny video

  • this video is one big straw man.

  • great loved it.

  • Why do you support a lifestyle that is neither healthy for the human body nor natural? If an act is not healthy you cannot argue it is a civil right. Humans are in every way shape & form biologically, chemically, & physiologically wired for opposite sexual interactions. There is no comparison to same sex sodomy.

  • There is a reason people are born with penises & vaginas & there is a reason why same sex acts have the highest rate of HIV. They are not supposed to do that! Include your answer without the schoolyard name calling bigot & homophobe when someone disagrees with you.

  • was funny, but suddenly gay!

  • i bet you ANYTHING that the person who came up with the definition of marriage as being the bonding of a man and a woman was homophobic. and anyway, the human race isn't in any danger of dying out

  • @shadeseeker

So discriminating against race was a bad tradition, discriminating against sex was a bad tradition, but discriminating against sexual orientation is OK...because there aren't enough unwanted children? That's logical.

  • Loved this!!!

  • love this, made me so happy

  • I loved it!!! :)

  • haha this is awesome

  • great

  • Love it!

  • @Marywaterton: Firstly, these things did once happen in history, and we decided that they were a bad idea, and got rid of them. Second- I am pretty sure this video is not predicting the future. It is using past traditions to make a point.

  • I love this video! So simple and sweet, with a point to it, unlike many YouTube videos I have watched. Yays for Gays!

  • They did all happen in the time when marriage meant male+female only.

  • The clip does seems tongue-in-cheek, but it's not ancient history. Arranged marriages, bride price (payment to the bride's father), and forced female genital mutilation occur in more than a few non-western cultures today. As a woman, you'd be wise to research and safeguard yourself against those ideas that view woman as property. It's only been in the 100 years that women have obtained personal power out of the last 5000 years. Think about that...

  • That was amazing and so true!

  • Great video.

  • that was realy good :)

  • Chill the fuck out you christian, homo-hating, dinosaur disbelieving, fruit loop. It's just a video. If you don't like it, go find something you do like and watch that. It's a simple concept.

I'm not gay but I don't care if Adam and Steve sample each other's sauce and you shouldn't care either. Freedom is an important thing you cave douche!

  • I care not of your personality disorders and I do understand the video. You, on the other hand, have failed in reading comprehension. I would sit here and create some insults as you did but it's irrelevant because this is the internet, remember?

Less whining about videos on the internet and more learning. It could do you good.

  • FinalJusticeMovement, I don't believe in the existence of Beezlebub or any other biblical characters. Therefore, you assumed another thing about me that is false. The "666" only exists in my screen name as a flag which gives christians a hint not to preach their mythology to me. I don't care about mythology AKA religion.

I don't have time to insult you back because I'm not sure what you're exactly for or against. Nor do I care. I will just stop typing right..... about....... here.

  • Well said, thanks for the support

  • Your insane

  • AMAZING video and funny how some seem to write it off as extreme yet they treat people who are different in this manner all the time and are not even aware they do it. pick up a book people other than the bible, its called BE NICE ( or Else)

great read and practice some of thie things in there, being christian means you a re not allowed to sit in judgement of others. "he who is without sin cast the first stone" are any of you with out sin? dig deep I know its there we are all human!

  • Sure thing! I'm all for that, then let everyone get into a Marriage Contract and then let the churches decide whom to give a marriage to.

I mean as a gay man I can find 4 churches that would marry me... it just wouldn't be recognized by the Federal/State Gov'ts.

  • What about this video states it's Liberals that have done it?

    Libertarians feel the same way.

I understand how some people like to think in black and white terms (Conservative/Liberal). But not all conservatives or people for that matter, think the way you do.
