Absolutely Richard Marx wrote this song. It was written for his girlfriend(now his wife) who was in south Africa and he couldn't see her and missed her so much. He had to write out his feelings. He offered the song to Barbra Streisand and she told him he'd have to rewrite the lyrics cause she wasn't going to be right anywhere waiting for anyone. :) Lol. Beautiful song...

Anybody else find it CRAZY that JC sang Richard Marx's "Right Here Waiting" for his MMC audition that started his entire career and now Richard Marx is singing JC's groups' song "This I Promise You" with him. Amazing.

@xnexo08 - Actually, there have been talks for Nsync to appear in a movie about the life of Lou Pearlman but nothing definite. As of right now, there is no Nsync reunion.

@JSportsCards justin has said no, he still doesnt want to do a nsync reunion.. reporters/interiewers have asked him over and over about when, especially since after 15 years nkotb has had a number album and three success back to back tours.. ( two just nkotb and this new one with the backstreet guys- not fans of them, but im fans of nkotb and nsync)..he even said in a playboy interview, hes not singing right now,,hes concentrating on acting -eh, ive seen his movies for free and he needs to sing
