I miss this game so much! I remember being obsessed with it when I was 6! I tried installing it on my computer but it says that the game is too old </3
Thanks for posting this! I loved this game soo much as a child. It came with our first family computer in 1995. It was an IBM Aptiva. Do you know if this game was 16-bit? I think it was because I tried to install it on Windows 7 64-bit and it would not allow me too. 16-bit cannot be emulated in Windows 64-bit.
I haven't played this game in 10 years, but I keep finding myself saying the lines with the characters, which says to me that I used to play this way too much.
Ahhh i remember having played this nice game almost 10 years back. It was my first game actually.. on the first CD desktop computer i bought at that time (when this pc model just came out)... I also recall learning how to switch color mode to 256 colors only! :P ahh good old memories... thnks fuzzymonkey41!!! :)
I agree; let's start a petition for Al Lowe to make another game. I'm not sure what he's up to right now, but I did communicate with him briefly before I put the videos up (with his blessing).
He's considering putting the game up on his website, but it would take a much more organized effort to bring a sequel into the picture.
A sequel would rock! I mean, this game was intended to be the first in a series--but adventure games lost much of their popularity, so the plans were scrapped. Maybe nowadays, there'll be enough of a market for them that Torin's Passage II would be welcomed. :)
i played this game when i was 13. I was my favorite game for a long time, because of the quality of puzzles, the smoothness in gameplay, and good art+sound direction
Thank you for posting your Torin's Passage Playthrough videos. You have gotten me interested in the game, and I have found an unopened copy in the BOX! Your hard work recording this is very much appreciated.
No problem; I should have more coming soon (I just got back from college last week and have been relaxing mostly). I'm glad you've gotten interested in the game, though. Far too many adventure games have fallen by the wayside with the flood of mediocre games nowadays.
I can't believe you have this on here! I played this game with my mom when I was little. I was looking online for a place to buy it, but can't seem to find any. I don't think it works on a mac either. :(
I actually do have a mic, but I figured that my voice would conflict with the characters in Torin's Passage. Had the game been a non-talkie version, I would have strongly considered making audio commentary.
wow so your commentary is just so witty. please do it more

This game was really deep and quite original! It used to freak me out at times though, but nevertheless, a classic!

I want there to a sequel to this game. Why? Because the Lands above may be the most beautiful thing I've ever seen.
No, I'm not kidding. TELL me that landscape isn't freakin' gorgeous.

I actually liked that game, but the only thing that ruined it for me was the Bitternuts. They freaked me out really bad.

No problem; it seems there are more people out there who enjoyed old adventure games than I realized.

don't have a mic? the annotations are better than nothing, but i would've preferred voice-over narrative.

Maybe the guard would be a little more responsive if Torin stopped throwing rocks at his face.
