  • hahah motorsickle :)

... another 5 years period after this video... what happened in the meanwhile? what about that bike?

  • @safewaycart It was sold on, Motorsickle is no more, circumstances meant we could not keep doing all we wanted to do, the CBR went, the XS500 chopper project, the FJ1200 rat. Shame really but thats life, we may ressurect the whole Motorsickle thing one day.

  • Getting one of these soon, needs a rear end rebuild and new tyres, got any tips/specs that might be useful?

  • i know its a good bike got one myself

  • Probably had to put a new start in it considering your not supposed to crank longer than 15 seconds.

  • Love the bubbles piston's sound!

  • Did you clean it all up, "restore it" and such? I'd love to see another video of it running properly, and looking sweet !

  • do it up & sell it ?

  • nice vid mate! Nice Honda as well, hope it runs nicely nowadays = )

  • honda all the way..she's been hibernating lol.

  • i got one of these bikes last april it was sitting in a shed nearly 3 years covered in shit an hour later she starts it my pride and joy never to be sold well done and hold on to that gem

  • my dad got an 84 700 shadow that had a mouse nest in the air box, mouse was still in it, stone dead, ran better with a clear airbox

  • Gonna Need a carb rebuild right of the bat.

  • after you guys got it started.. why didnt you leave it running?? will that mess it up??

  • With no exhaust on it, it would burn out the exhaust valves.

  • See!! i learn something everyday!! Thanks

  • @motorsickle666 Yep!!

  • had one of these till it got nicked, brilliant bike. the new owner will have lots of fun. one of the best honda ever made.

  • This is one of the FUNNIEST motorcycle stories I've ever heard in my entire life. Seldom almost NEVER have I heard neither about a bike that spent 5 years in a garden nor a bike with a mouse nest in the air box! motorsickle666, you've done well!

  • mate thats a nice bike me dad had an 87 and just sold it due to it being heavy arond corners as well as she used oil and may timing noise i cant beleive you can leave such a beast just sitting there

  • it's a honda, all it needed was some choke...

  • It looks and sounds like you put Palmolive in it. LOL! Good Bike!

  • but is he outting in the motor?

  • great video and great bike, i love my 1987 cbr1000. Are you going to rebuild this to go back on the road?

  • free bike cant beat that!

  • cool

  • legend! wat a man

  • Panther 1110 is a Retard. Thats all.

  • I absolutly enjoyed this video and show it to friends from time to time, Thank you for taking the time to shoot and post this video! I have an 88 Honda Hurricane 1000f and I won't part with it ever...its my baby. There has'nt been a better superbike built.

  • I am impressed i have a 1990 1000f that has been in driveway for about 8 yrs........never got it repaired, but, now...I wanna get it going!!!

  • Well next time be more specific of what you done as it seems like the chap standing next 2 ya appears to be a retard or is that yer brother.

  • I have blocked you, it just seems you are keyboard warrior who is intent on being insulting. Grow up.

  • @panther1110 hahahahahaha

  • Take the plugs out next time and clean them and then fuel thru the intake idiot. See you aint gotta clue

  • Dont call me an idiot pal, we did take out the plugs and fit new ones, that little bottle is drip feeding the intakes at one point. This was designed to see if the bike would run after five years with minimal effort or cost.

  • And by the by yes i am a motor mechanic and cranking the throttle like you doing is not gonna help matters much PAL

  • @panther1110 very well said

  • yeah... but was the mouse ok?

  • Definitely a testament to Honda quality and just how bullet proof the Honda CBRs truly were. Amazing! I miss my 1990 CBR600F.

  • True, Slob had one, it was immaculate when he bought it and then matt blacked it after a week, he abused that bike so bad and it just kept going, it finally died under the wheels of a car.

  • What´s the plop plop plop sound?

  • Running it with no exhaust.....

  • ofcourse it will run, but the engine wil break in a couple of months

buy new honda parts? start crying!

    cool vidio!

  • It sounds like it's farting as it's trying to start and come back to life.

  • nice to see the old girl spring to life just shows what a great bike the cbr 1000f is wonder if a modern bike would start after 5 years in the bake yard

  • Check out the chop build vid as well, an old XS500 (yeah I know) again not been started for 5 or 6 years.

  • thats pretty cool to hear it run after sitting for 5 years and the best part was its free good find

  • U brits are really brilliant. Next time spray some gas into the intake, not through dirty old carb plumbing.

  • The idea was to see if we could get it running off the carbs.

  • @steelmesh you Americans.....there you go saving us all over again!

  • @catfoss1959 LOL, don't get me wrong, there are plenty of Americans missing brain tissue.

  • fucking spiders. I have to park my bike outside, and if I don't use it for a day or two, it's got spiders. It's funny how the bike was "in the garden". No wonder it was full of shit!

  • Is it dead yet ??

  • you suck balls
