Yes, maybe some 1500 years ago we werent slavs but we by now we have more slavic features than any other.

I wouldn't say we mix Christianity with paganism. Christianity is truth (The Orthodox kind anyway) and if you mix anything with it it is watered down. Instead we may use some pagan terms to explain Christianity the same way the Church Fathers used Plato, and Socrates etc and their terms to explain the Faith. But it does not mean we agree with anything that contradicts Orthodoxy.

ok we dont mix it, but think a little about all the rituals and theditions - most of them come from the paganism - the nestinari, throwing arrows in the night sky, the day of the flowers with the girls dancing praying for rain and many others, the 'martenici' with we tide on our hand for health in martch and many many others - this is fact because when the bulgarians were cinerted to orthodox religion, the masses accepted it easily with keeping some of their pagan rituals

That's true of most "modern" religions, especially early Christian religions..to get people to listen to the new ideas and theology the early churchs had to approach the people the way they understood God and religeous practices. There's nothing negative about these ideas..they're what happened..not just in Bulgaria.
