All candidates will say anything to get elected. McCain would have been no better. I say we give Obama a try. I hope that he will focus on the cost of gas in our country. He needs to lean on the oil industry and not let them enjoy extreme profits at our expense like Bush did. Gas needs to either go back down to $1.50 a gallon, or we need to make cars that can rely on alternative sources. If gas goes up again, then Obama will be failing us. Here's his chance to prove himself worthy to lead

The country hasn't felt like this in at least 48 of the 55 years that I have watched elections. Certainly, it is on the same level with the Kennedy victory. We have an actual Leader of the Free World to inspire, cajole, convince and encourage us now. He cannot get what he wants done with a wave of his hand, and he will make mistakes. They all do. We all need to come together and trust and respect each other.

Couldn't ask for a better spokesperson though. A spokesperson can change the world, inspire hope, and inspire powerful belief - which is what really changes in the world. He is saying if we want to change America and the world we must change ourselves and not wait for a government to do it for us anyway. He can inspire us through his example to think outside the box, to have determination and work hard for positive changes! A spokesperson can change the spirit & image of a nation.

I´m Swede, and even though we don´t need to care about American Politic, we really do, or did. We had a lot about the election in our society lessons,´our teacher talked really much, we was on the internet and really researched on the internet. And I really cared about the election, and really hoped that Obama would win. Now when he did, I really cheer!=)
