  • If this is truly a scientific enquiry, the global warming people should be able to come up with experimental results which would disprove their theory or model. (Think, if no ether wind can be detected, then the ether model must be wrong). If they cannot do this, then this is a belief system or religion and not science. If they can, let's hear it and let the experiments begin!

However, in short, how long do global temperatures have to drop before they stop telling us they're rising?

  • It's time for people to stop worrying about the planet. The planet will be fine. It's taken worst beating than any human has been able to dish out. The planet is not going anywhere.... We are.

  • hey resident, i agree, seems people dont respond to anything other than a disaster these days, because its not boom in our faces many of us dont see it or chose to remain ignorant because it means we would all have to take accountability for it if we as a whole admitted it. if corporations found a way to make more money off doing something about global warming than they make in denial of it i bet they would be owning up by the hundreds.

  • While everybody is inclined to their own opinion, it really is surprising how hostile people are when it comes to global warming/environmentalism. I've seen a lot of people vehemently argue against global warming, and that it's just propaganda/conspiracy/bullshit and that the entire scientific community is against it and that anybody who believes so is a nimrod. But, from what I've learned, the scientific community is split fifty-fifty...

  • Global warming, the one thing Al Gore actually did invent. Climate change has always happened and always will. Check all sides of the science and determine for yourself who has the agenda. Those of you who are not too narrow-minded, try searching "Global Warming Hoax" and see what you find.

  • Actually... I just took a Weather & Climate course... and we are actually SUPPOSED to be entering another ice age... because trees that were found North back in the day are now found lower... which means it was getting colder. But now we're warming up... which we shouldn't be. So yeah... its natural... but wrong way. That can't be good. U cant just spew "Its natural!!" but know nothing about it... gah.

  • The next ice age is with us. Get out more!

  • Resident Hypocrite, you don't understand these things because you are an ignorant leftist hack. An idiot. Those "facts" that you show do not prove that global warming is real. What they prove is that our climate is not static. Greenland once had vinyards. One pole is warming while the other is getting cooler. In the 70's the 'scientists" thought we were headed for another mini ice age.

BTW, Tony Blair was the Prime Minister of the UK, not the head of England.

Is that Morgan Spurlock on screen?

  • The problem with Naturalist is this: America doesn't have the money/resources to go from Gas to other means of energy YET. Now maybe in the future we might. A problem I have with Naturalists is that they know this. In Fact they think it would be great if we didn't have any energy why though? Maybe its because they are socialists that want to control the Government. I think so.

  • Yes bring on Gore-Bull warming! TAX ME PLEASE! $4.00 for a gallon of gas just isn't high enough for me! Make it cost $14.00! WE DON'T PAY ENOUGH TAXES AND WE ARE TOO RICH AND PROSPORUS IT'S NOT FAIR TO EVERYONE ELSE!

  • $14 per gallon (thats right America still stubbornly uses the imperial system) is near the price some countries already pay for petrol. You want to pay less for "Gas" get your car converted to actually run on gas, or if you can afford to buy an efficient car.

  • Time to paint your hair blonde again because it suites you better.

Nice try with the hurricane statement by the way. Despite the typical doom and gloom predictions from Gore sheep like yourself, not a major hurricane has hit US soil in over 2 years.

I would debunk all your other misconceptions, however something tells me that you are unable to understand simple facts, and also I have some snow to shovel from the record snowfall we got....again.

  • Sorry Resident, global warming doesn't exist. Our climate goes through normal cycles. This planet was in a cooling cycle from the 40's till the late 70's. I remember the talk about another ice age back in 1975.

You seem to be intellegent and capable of critical thought, but you are basing your decision on only 1/2 the facts. Weigh all the facts from both sides of the argument. It would server you better. For example, how about the artifacts of a farming society found in Greenland??

  • Its better to believe in god and find out he doesn't exist then not to believe in him find out he dose exist and go to hell.

  • Good Girl finally some1 said it i loveu :Dü

  • :D YAY! You rock! Finally someone said it! :D Thx! :D

  • HAHAHAHAA- get off my foot- your rants are hilarious and adorrrable- but yeah global warming, def a problem- altho getting a lot more attention now and clearly progress has been made- lets continue with the progress. i've unplugged my cell phone charger and sold my car and started biking- lets all do something!

  • This video kills me. As cute as you are, you know nothing about science. Since when did popular consensus of a theory make that theory a fact? Do you have any idea how big the earth is and just how many factors play a vital role in the earths climate every day? Your facts may be true....may..., however you failed to establish any correlation. What if I told you the global infant death rate went up from last year by 20% and then blamed it on IDS? Believe me?

  • Does this dumb bitch not understand that the climate has been changing almost from the time this planet was created? 20,000 years ago it was undergoing a climate change. Out ancestors were hinding in a fucking cave back then. Where were all the greenhouse gases coming from that suppposely create climate change to begin with? Nuff said!!

  • If you studied the research on solar activity and warming, you would know that scientists have analyzed the trend lines, and the successful climate models indicate that the solar contribution is there, but that it causes only a small portion of the warming.

  • sooooooo...DO something about it.

  • You are so smart and nice looking =)

  • A problem supported by factual information, good.

  • Oye, chica, I like dat ass u got. I agree wit wat u said all the way, baby.

  • THERE is a SOLUTION already that the top governments know about: free energy, anti-gravity technology that is currently and has for a long time been developing, but instead this technology is used for MILITARY purposes instead of the good of this earth. Please respond after you do some research, we are all out for the truth in order to find the true problem of this world

  • EvilMongrelMonkey, before I start, don't get me wrong. I'm not claiming anyone is right. I'd just like skeptics to try and at least WONDER whether the idea that 'global warming is not our fault and not being accelerated by us' could also be propoganda. Thanks

  • go die

  • U may be willing to believe the "were not guilty feel good propaganda" but there's to much evidence. It cannot be ignored due to a handful of skeptics, I have seen enough in my own home. The weather over the last 5 years has been crazy here. I know everything I do from using this computer to buying food is all contributing the destruction of our world. Knowing about it and trying to make a difference is the least we all owe to the planet- the sooner we ALL except that, the better.

  • It was both NOAA and NASA researchers, I believe, that learned that the sun has been heating up the planet for more than 100 years. I'm not saying that global worming isn't happening. I am saying that most people say it is being caused by petroleum (oil and gas) and I do believe that petroleum pollutes, but, the sun is heating up the volcanoes and they are the main cause of global warming, I think, OK?

  • EXACTLY!!!

THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! I LOVE YOU FOR SAYING THAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

bush...sigh...hes crazy....hes dedicated to ruining things....

  • re: gstendious

--Watch, "The Great Global Warming Swindle" and " Global Warming: Doomsday Called Off". After watching those films, I don't see how any logical or credible person could possibly believe what eco-alarmists are saying about global warming. --

Lobbyists aren't a good source of information.

    greyfalcon. net/ swindle.png

Now if you want real science, then read these:

    greyfalcon. net/ swindle2

    greyfalcon. net/ swindle3

    greyfalcon. net/ mars

    greyfalcon. net/ cooling

  • It amazes me how any human being or resident of this planet could not think this is a problem. If you are 10 years old you can calculate the temperature from when you were 5 years old and see the difference to what it is now. It literally doesn't take a genious to figure this out, and its quite evident that there are tons of people out there that aren't geniouses.

  • What a loser this guy is. This is all this jack ass has to say. His mother must be very proud of the way he turned out.

  • tubealot44 (3 weeks ago) marked as spam

u r so fine. porno pays better.

  • Goverment wants to handle global warming by technical way wich leads to a positive feedback. Let's use more energy and emit more CO2 for to prevent global warming no matter what happens. One thing is obvious: it won't works too long!!!

Keep doing these videos, they're full of essential truth!

  • The head of England is the Queen. Not Tony.

  • You know what she meant

  • Lori - Watch, "The Great Global Warming Swindle" and " Global Warming: Doomsday Called Off". After watching those films, I don't see how any logical or credible person could possibly believe what eco-alarmists are saying about global warming. Please watch those films and post a vlog about them. I would love to hear your response.

  • I don't want the oil companys to be making environmental policy. I also don't want a bunch of eco-marxist making economic policy either. Both would be huge disasters.

  • Well said. :)

  • Thank you evilmongrelmonkey, haha. I really want to keep learning about all sides of the issue on this one, even though no matter what I still believe people ought to be less wasteful. Just as a matter of good form and appreciation for the planet. I appreciate your words!

  • I know the arguments both ways and totally appreciate you writing in! However, I gotta point out that propaganda and facts are not mutually exclusive. Propaganda is often (but not always) made of facts used to make one's point seem right. So these might be propaganda, yes, but they are still facts in this case. :) I really do appreciate you writing in though, seriously!

  • ENGLAND RULES!

  • Nice video - with faces scattered throughout. Well Done!

Bravo! I too agree with you.

  • So, I'm supposed to take advise from a person who refers to Tony Blair as "the head of England?"

    Now THAT'S funny.

  • Hahaha, I thought it was funny too...

  • Yes, its ADVICE. What is wrong with people? Always have to pick apart when someone does something positive to make the world a better place.

  • Very good step by posting this video. There are still many people who don't believe in global warming thing and when u try to explain it to them there answer is "This is just a cycle"...huh

  • Been watching your videos for a day now. There is this common thread that runs through them. Cause & effect people. And it is a refreshing change in a sea of mindless b.s.

  • THanks incipitvitanova!

  • I totally agree. An ancient native american pronoun says, the earth is not inherited from your ancestors it is borrowed from your grandchildren. Meaning that it is not yours to destroy if you want your children and grandchildren to live in a healthy non polluted world.

  • I totally agree with you.

And for the other people, who don't, or who want to act stupid saying we can't stop it~ Well, let's just see how much you like it when we're all drowning because you couldn't ride a fucking bicycle somewhere!

  • ... simple let's do something ... we can send our US climate negotiator to the Bermuda Triangle for a direct dialogue with MaMa Nature ... Hell, let's send the entire Bush administration along ... it'll save us lot's of tax bucks and maybe get thinks moving again ... dave@woodpile

  • Wether or not global warming is a problem doesn't make any difference, because we can't stop it no matter what. If we stopped adding any carbon dioxide to the atmosphere (which would involve not breathing), there would still be global warming because 95% of the greenhouse effect is caused by water vapor in the atmosphere. And I highly doubt that we'll be able to stop waves from happening and volcanoes from erupting just to keep the earth at a comfortable temperature.

  • You're thinking ahead of time. I mean yea it's affecting us now, but it has been for the past how many years? I think that even if we try and give out informationg they will either not help, listen, or care because there wil always be an excuse. The vast majority of people in the world are more worried about other things that it doesn't affect them even if you tell them and keep on telling them. It's cool that you're trying to get the word out, but it's still not changing and it probably wont.

  • It's not so much that the world is getting warmer, it's whether humanity has anything to do about it. Clean air is nice, but not everyone agrees that dirty air heats up the globe. Cows are the biggest air poluter is you complain about CO2

  • you made me realise how stupid i was to fall once more in the trap of generalysing and started to think that all americans are the same... thanks!

  • wow nice but o well your going to die before it really effects you anyway

  • think about your kids or grandchildren, IT WILL EFFECT THEM!!!

  • yeah sure but by then we would have found other means of surviving and would have probably hit by a meteor or something sorry for being so harsh but its true untill snow stops falling from the sky thats when we should realy start to worry

  • yeah sure but by then we would have found other means of surviving and would have probably hit by a meteor or something sorry for being so harsh but its true untill snow stops falling from the sky thats when we should realy start to worry

  • very true! Something must be done NOW

  • our president SUCKS ASS, i replaced my light bulbs today, it was easy

  • I find it interesting that you mention Colombia in this video, I find it funny because the vast majority of the energy here is obtained from hydroelectric plants. The fossil fuels are almost all for export, which is incredibly ironic seeing how much of our country depends on the climate. A climate which is being modified by global warming, to which we are indirectly contributing to.

  • Awesome!

  • Hopefully the 110th Congress will push Bush into admitting Global Warming isn't just a huge problem, but will be the reason that humans go extinct. We should leave a note, unlike the dinosaurs who have kept us guessing all these years. Stupid dinosaurs.

  • That's an amazing, amazing idea Drew. I love it. That's definitely one to start composing NOW...

  • We shouldn't do anything about global warming until people actually start melting. We must maximize profits first. Also we should start printing money with a higher burning temperature.

  • dont be worried about posting about a topic that's "too heavy"! you do it well and with style, people will listen!

  • Thanks Jake!

  • The foot analogy was great.

Glad you didn't "stay away" from the topic.

You're 100% right. We need to do something NOW! Forget about wars, AIDS, cancer, etc.: it's global warming that's gonna sneak up and bite us all in the ass.

  • Isnt agreeing to dedicate money to clean air technologies admitting that there is a problem? Its like a 2 in 1 deal.

  • Global warming is real. Time for US to get real, too.

  • She's goreous.

  • Dear theresident,

    thanks much for you work!

  • Erm, no idea on the exact details of the land of the pommies, buuut just like to add that you forgot the whole rising sea levels thing. Apparently the level of the sea is (!) rising. By centimetres per year or something. While this might not seem like such a big deal, when the highest point on your entire island is about a metre above sea level ... yeah, you get me drift. cheers

  • Tony Blair, Prime Minster of the United Kingdom. Not England, don't forget about the rest of the country...

  • Sorry! Spoken like a true dumb American, right? haha.

  • While United Kingdom is closer it's the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. You left out Northern Ireland!

  • See? I'm totally a dumb American. Now I know, thanks for the help, haha. At least I'm not driving around a big gas guzzling car though, right?

  • Yeah, well neither do I, I ride a bike and have use public transport. I take the bike on the train for longer journeys. I use energy efficient lightbulbs, I recycle paper etc etc... however I'm probably in a small minority who do these things. You see it's one thing to say global warming is a problem (even though that step is seemingly too much for some), however it's possible to reduce the impact you have and is a matter of personal responsibility not government's. PS. You're not dumb.

  • No one says, I come from the UK and Northen Ireland. They just say UK.

You SHOULD drive around a gas guzzling car, fuel is so fantastically cheap in America.

  • I live in NYC. I don't even ride in cars let alone drive them, so I'd have no idea what was cheap or expensive even. See? Told you I was dumb level80, haha.

  • I know this is off the subject, but the idea of getting around a lot places fairly easy, without a car, seems cool. Like an adventour. -- But, also I like my car. - anyway, great video-important message

  • Yeah, we had a discussion on this last semester when I was talking this sociology class. Basically we came up with the conclusion that once America, the government and not the scientists, acknowledge that there is infact a global warming problem, then something will be done about it.
