I would suggest that the drummer just speed the song up a tiny bit and do a regular country shuffle on the snare (think Folsome Prison Blues) - this would make this performance so much better and more powerful. As it stands it is a tiny bit weak, but I think just because the drummer is doing 32 notes most of the time, or doing a straight 16 pattern when the song should have a swing-time feel.
