The sound effects are from "Enter the Matrix" and "The Matrix Online". The old MxO site used to have media packs where I got them, but they've since removed all of that stuff.
About or month or so because I kept needing more supplies. Took a few weeks to sculpt the pieces and such too. Considering it's all made out of hot glue, cardboard and black foam I think it looks okay.
Very awesome batsuit. I'm making one myself. Since this is a parody, I don't think you'd need an exact replica anyways, as funny as it would be to see.
The batsuit in The Dark Knight has a helmet instead of a cowl, though in this scene he was wearing the old suit I didn't feel I needed to make 2 batsuits.
I opted for a shorter cape because long capes can cause safety issues in fights.
I hand sculpted the chest and casted it in thick rubber. It's very uncomfortable but considering it looks good on film I'd say it's worth it.

i knew you were going to say something like you made it lol, to make it look real movie accurate try a better cape and the full batman over the head cowl, oh also the how did you make the chest peace, that kind a looks bot?

I made it from scratch. Except the helmet - that's a modified $5 plastic mask from the party store.

I made the suit using pictures of the real one. It would have taken much more time and money to get it to look more accurate.
