@Airplanesaremything as you might have noticed they're at sea. Sea causes moisture, airplane engines alone cause a LOT of heat. moisture + heat= vapor => smoke

AIrcraft Carriers use 'steam catapults' to launch aircraft. That's what that is. STEAM.
