oh yeah, and the failing economy is a result of the democrats passing a bill that basically destroyed the housing market. the democrats were in power at the time the economy began going way downhill. for his last two years in office, bush couldn't do shit because the democrats had power in the house and senate. they wouldn't let him do anything. but i wouldn't expect you to know how our government works. at least republicans are responsible. we don't do things like double the national debt.

@GeorgeThomasandBen1 good point, when thinking about Bush as far as September 11 he held himself well and should be commended for it. as for the rest of his presidency, we will have to see. Jimmy Carter's presidency ended on a very low note because of simuliar economic struggles, but he's now as popular as many others. Same thing with Ford, Nixon, Clinton and Lincoln especially (he was pretty unpopular during his presidency, he was reelected was because we were starting to win the civil war)
