I've always given 3 characters Bubble Belts, then made gambits that say Target Foe: Ally HP >90%. That way, they're constantly doing max damage (relatively speaking), as well as killing enemies in the process.

suppose i was playing and did 30,000 damage in all with KoR's, then in a couple of hours i use a dark matter, would it still do 10,000 dmg or is there a time limit that i have to use it within

And could i use one right after and do the same damage, OR a third of the first dark matter. kinda complicated

-use another dark matter 10,000 dmg again? or would it do a third of the 1st dark matter, thus 3,333 (i think)

Wait, I can probably go to gamefaqs, but can sombody tell me how to power up a dark matter? Because I have 99 knots of rust and I used a dark matter. 0 damage. I used it again and it did 30 000 damage and I didn't use any KoR. BTW, is the power up permanent?

Dark Matter's Damage equal 1/3rd of what KoR has done. If the total has reached 180K, it will deal 60K of damage, which is the max. No, the damage isn't permanent. You have to power up it again after you use a Dark Matter.

Dark Matter is very random indeed. I used 3 on Gilgamesh and only came out with 2,000 damage with the last one, I haven't bothered using them since.

Just a thought...shouldn't you touch the save crystal earlier to avoid 'wasting' a use of a knot of rust (using two when only one will kill Reddas for example)???

The whole point is to use all 99 of them fast and buy them again, and do it again. There's no waste in Knots of Rust because you can buy them.

Just like phoenix downs, if you don't see any words or numbers, it doesn't count and goes back into your inventory.
