@EXODUSJUNKY Actually dubstep and techno aren't the same genre, they're both electronic but are clearly different types of music, and that's why there's a different name. The reason there isn't a new name for the new wave thrash bands is 'cause it's all still thrash. The genre hasn't changed, just the bands.

Dave Mustaine even said "Megadeth is more than just thrash" if you listen to death magnetic some songs are metal same with Worship Music by Anthrax that entire album is heavy metal.
