kazafy i beleive is reda trained, reda revolutionised folkloric dances and oriental for the stage with footwork patterns, jazz and ballet steps and moves to make bellydance a respectable performance art. this principle follows for sha'abi as it is a dance of lower classes he's taken the vocabulary and refined it, its still sha'abi but a respectable sytlisation for the stage.
