  • 3do Arm60 RISC 12.5 MHZ 3do kinda like the snes super fx 2 chip 3do can push only 20,000 triangles per second. let alone the first 32bit system with "cdrom" that's why it was 700 bones during the 16bit era. Than Sega Saturn 200,000 10 times more. Sony ps1 360,000 both texture mapped. Than Nintendo 64 150,000 per sec 350k with 8megabyte ram add on. Turok 2

Donkey Kong 64 and many others.

  • i have doom for 3do somewhere in the basement, and its just as terrible as this emulator version

  • ok someone please tell me is the 3do version of doom with the full screen cheat as playable as the sega saturn pal or us version and the GBA one ??/

  • Nice channel you have here. :)

The disappearing sprites mentioned in your review are indeed the emulator's fault. But, the rest of the game is pretty much just as bad on the actual console. (Music's good, at least!)

    Cheers. :)

  • what do you think of the Doom ported to the PSX or PS1

  • @RobStoj69 I thought it was great. I did a vid (it's in the playlist titled "Doomdays" in case you didn't see it) and I speak very highly of it.

  • Just bought this for £15 off ebay. I don't care! Doom is Doom!

  • @CLeRKSfan4life That's great! More power to you, friend!

  • @Balames87 Hell yeah! The original Doom Trilogy is my favourite game series of all time. Plus, each 'bad' version of Doom has at least one positive to it. SNES had more textures and level designs from the original left in, 3DO has some awesome music, so it's worth buying.

  • @CLeRKSfan4life I completely agree. They all had at least one positive aspect to them. I raved about the music in the 3DO version. I found the Jaguar version to be a perfect replica of the original (aside from no music during the levels), and even though the 32X one had some of the lousiest music ever, it was still very much playable. So yes, Doom is Doom and it always will be.
