My favorite part about Cartel is the abundance of talent in the band.The lead singer has a unique voice and sounds the same live as he does on tape,unlike most bands (Panic at the Disco! for example)Not to mention the strong lyrics

I don't see any similarity between Cartel and Green Day. There's some similarity, voice-wise, with Fall Out Boy or Panic!, and some generic sound similarities between Cartel and such bands, but I've yet to see any similarity at all to Green Day.

I haven't yet listened to much Cartel, however, so perhaps my data is simply insufficient.
