@Aliceinchainhead its basically when a band wants to have a "low quality" sound, like it was recorded in a garage or using dated or poor quality recording equipment. It potentially gives the sound more warmth, or sound as if the band is playing the song live.

@Aliceinchainhead I've done loaded it from a couple of sites, and I don't think its studio quality stuff, unless the .mp3s I got are low quality or compressed files. But whatever, its a good song regardless.
