that little TV at about 15 seconds in... a lifetime of gadget geekdom was born right there.
the idea of a TV that played ANYTHING you wanted to see?!?!?
this made me want my first view-master projector, made me want to run my grandma's slide projector, me want my first computer, my first palm pilot, my new phone...
I think that little TV was stolen from the Star Trek prop department. Also, why would Speed Reader do a handstand and read newspapers. I'm just saying is all.
I remember him pulling out that little screen and this line drawing animation would play on it. The characters in the animation would simplly make the sound "Noo Noo Noo Noo"......I also remember the guy who used to do eyeball excercises LOL.
Do you remember the anti-gravity day episode in coasterville when Knock Knock flew up into the sky like a speeding bullet and brought Frannie's floating guitar back?
are they saying "ingomar" at the end? its quiet. i can barely hear it. didnt that little screen show a cartoon of a guy that was just like made of an outline or a line or something?
I remember that Goriddle's little friend was also known as La Linea, a screeching chalk figure that went through lots of obstacles drawn by a pencil from a hand. La Linea was an Italian animation segment done by animator Osvaldo Cavandoli of Milan, Italy.
I remember one GSC episode where Goriddle was doing a talk show. Goriddle left both Knock Knock and Roy as guests out. Goriddle was rude to them both.So they left him all alone. Then Goriddle with no one else left, so he then started talking to himself!
This is great! Does anyone remember Roy showing a cartoon with a carrot & potato laughing at each other? I think it was simply called "Weird". Anyone know where to find all of those wonderful cartoons?
I remember in one episode where Goriddle Gorilla was using up all of Edison Elephant's crayons. So Roy showed them a cartoon about all lands made of color called blueland and pinkland.
Do you remember the time where Knock Knock harassed Goriddle as a being made into a fake scarecrow in Edison Elephant's corn garden? She said, Fran and Edison have been gone a long time now! Frannie as a practical joke using a hammer made Goriddle into a fake scarecrow to teach him a lesson for stealing theirs!
Mann I remember wanting one of those things when I was a Kid. And I remeber my cousin saying they probrably won't have those until the future. Thanx Apple!!
Do you remember TGSC episode where the whole gang all went camping in a music video segment? They all sang, We All In Live In A Yellow Submarine together.
Do you remember TGSC episode where Baxter brought back a strange rock from space to Coasterville? By touching it, it made him, Goriddle, Knock Knock, Fran, Danny, Roy, and Gary Gnu all stick to one another! TGSC cast sang while they were all still stuck!
Do you remember the episode where Frannie using a hammer made Goriddle Gorilla into a fake scarecrow in Edison Elephant's corn garden? Or the anti-gravity day episode where everything in Coasterville, including Frannie's guitar went flying in the air? And Knock Knock brought it back?
The Great Space Coaster ran syndicated for 5 years from 1981-1986. Do you remember when Knock Knock met Actress Sally Struthers as a guest star by her tree in the 1982 season? They together talked about Sally being on All In The Family.
Does anyone remember when blonde Actress Bess Armstrong of Jaws 3 guest starred on The Great Space Coaster? She sang a duet with Knock Knock that went: You let that man get away! Bess Armstrong also guest hosted The Gary Gnu Show, where she got a banana cream pie in the face by Gary's mean Gnu crew!
I had a stuffed toy of Knock Knock.

I've been looking for this. I used to adopt Ingomar as my fake name as a joke.
But is it really Ingomar? A play on Ingmar Bergman? Or is it something else?
