Funny how some stupid video with a grown man riding a motorcycle, singing about getting high, recieved over 400,000 views. What a sad, sad world we live in!

I remember when I used to do foster dogs, so many stories... so I knew from a young age how important it was to ADOPT instead of BUY dogs. There are so many homeless pets, and so many people are going to pet stores to buy animals that are more likely than not from puppy mills. I've even told my 8 year old neighbors to GET A DOG FROM THE POUND! And I also remember using Petfinder with our fosters, or at least going on trying to find dogs/pets ourselves. I hope all these dogs get a hoime some day.

Great reminder.....I know last December I was looking for a bird cage and found a neglected cockatoos, plucked , flying all over in a smoke filled room.....

The cage was filth and I paid 300.00 which in one way was alot for her, but to save her life it was worth it!

Adoption agencies don't even cost that much , so saving a life of a pet is the greatest feeling you can have at this time of year!

Loved the message! We end up with a lot of "christmas presents" at our local shelter. One that came in a while back was a German Shepherd (what my big rescued boy is). The reason for the return: the dog got big as it got older... they don't stay puppies forever and what did they expect with a GSD!!!

Oh my goodness, I CAN'T BELIEVE all those gorgeous, adorable, handsome animals are homeless!! They are all so beautiful. I'd adopt one or two (or all of them!) right away if I could.
