Hey i was wondering if using a q-loader with your set up is recommended. I am not picky about much things, but man i cant stand my hoppers on the top of the marker. I am all about having the top of it free and clear except for a reddot or similar sight.
you are an awesome person for doing this video. I am new to paintball and I have decided to go for a setup similar to yours, but I was clueless on how to go about doing it. But now I know!
hey dude im having a problem with installing my adjustable CAR stock on my a-5. The instructions say to put the o-ring that it came with on the back of the bolt and not on the stock itself, is this right? thanks
I heard that when you put a S.O. air thru stock on you have to drill a hole beside the where the tombstone goes. When I heard this, it was for the commando stock. But do you have to get some variation for this stock so you can install the stock without drilling in the reciever? By the way your videos are awsome!
The Old style of SO stocks sometimes required you to drill a hole for the airthru capability to work. All the current stocks assemble without any modifications.
this is off topic, but i have both a CO2 and Compressed Air tanks for my A-5.. im just wondering. if i use CO2 while chrono-ing my gun...and i got out on the field..lose CO2 and switch to Compressed Air (and vice-versa)...wat am i looking at as far as a change in velocity? would u recommend such an act during play?
thanks alot.. ok so now i have another issue.. i just recently switched to Compressed Air.. b4 this i was using CO2 with a Remote Line...now that i've dont use the remote line and just the stock gas line..i find that it screws in too far into my tombstone and isnt set properly. so now when i hook up the air it leaks right out.. how can i fix this?.. do i need a new hose?
Is the place were you screw your tank in under the grip? That would be the ASA, not the tombstone. If this is the case, I would call Tippmann and they should send you out a new ASA. I had this problem with my ASA. It worked fine with some tanks, but others would just leak. Switching ASA's fixed the problem.
If you are talking about the tombstone(the part in front of the trigger), then you will probably need to contact Tippmann and have them send you a replacement for that.
much appreciated.. it involves both actually. when i scerw the gas line into the tombstone the fitting goes in about a half turn too far..which means that i hav to loosen it if i wanna hook it into the bottom of the grip.. so i guess i def gotta call tippmann then.. i was hopin i wouldnt have to and that maybe i could adjust it myself
As far as I know, all versions that are currently sold are the plastic composite. The originals were aluminum and will pop up on eBay occationally.
I've been using my stock for almost three years and it's still going strong. This stock can take a lot of abuse. I do tend to baby my gear so that it will last a long time, but I have abused it on the field without any adverse affects.
I've only heard of one story of a broken Dogleg. It snapped in the cold when the guy slipped on the ice and fell.
When I originally put the 90 degree fitting in, I put a little to much Teflon on the threads and tried screwing it in to far. This cracked the plastic and caused the stock to leak. I payed to ship it back to Special Ops, and after they fixed it they shipped it back to me at their expense. I had it back within 2 weeks.
hey, quick question. Do you know where i can get one of the "shims" or spacers for the stock by itself? I have the car stock and it's a little wobbly and have just been using pieces of tape and shoving it there but i think a shim or spaces would work better.
where can I get this stock?

do you recommend this stock?
Homevidz1o1 8 months ago
Did the dogleg stock come with the foregrip shroud and the short remote line tube (from tombstomb to stock)?
gfxjedi 8 months ago
I just recently got an A5 with this dog leg stock on it in a trade for another gun,
quick question does the remote line adaptor when connected to the stock dig in at all in your shoulder or armpit? it seems like it would
dont got my own remote line yet so havent tried it
paintballcrazy94 1 year ago
You dont need to do the whole co2 line wrapping against the gun right? Cant you just install the stock and thats it?
Hyperballin 1 year ago

angrymuffin123 1 year ago
nope just bought 1x30 tactical red dot site and had a stock on it / collapsable/ and just found out cant look though sites with mask on.
Yes i have a Tippmann A-5
yodakiddgg 2 years ago
How difficult is it to aim down the sights with a mask on with a regular stock, like a Commando or Collapsable stock?
KristianWGeorge 2 years ago
@KristianWGeorge i dont think you can, unless ur mask got a soft chin or soft ears, then the nask maybe able to flex to look through the sights
macsgo2hell 2 years ago
Impossible, as the mask is too big to aim down the sights, however youll be able to look down the top of the gun but really only with the Commando.
SirChubblesSteen 2 years ago
impossible...

Yes it is. That O-ring will act as a shock absorber or buffer for the stock.

on3shotkilla 2 years ago
It's so that there is a better seal to prevent Air/CO2 from escaping/leaking.

can you buy doglegs without the air-thru?
taylorwigg22 3 years ago
Unless you find them used, no. Stocks without air-thru are not made anymore.

ive seen that sight on call of duty 4 lol
vandalsandsuch 3 years ago
Could you tell me what kind of sight you have on that marker, and comment on its affectiveness. Thx
savageZA76 3 years ago
That is an NcSTAR D4B holo sight.
It is very easy to clean, it has been hit multiple times and never been damaged, battery lasts forever. I can hit a person at 75 feet 95% of the time.
Only down side is that it has to mount on a picitinny rail. I use the Special Ops Flattop Rail on mine.
I have a video showing off my setup that will be uploaded in the next day or two.
KRASHARPSHOOTER 3 years ago
what rail are u using?
