Don't you think the romantic scenes between Yunfan & Ziling are the very reason why so many women love to read QY's novels? Die-hard readers are more likely to thumb through the book again and again searching for these romantic nuggets, than to actually scrutinize the plot. Where's the pleasure in watching 3rd remake of Dreams Link if it was only to re-narrate a classic storyline that most people are already familiar with, from the 1975 and 1996 versions? It's a ROMANCE novel, not a thriller

I think most of the actors are acting quite well, and the actress acting as Lu Ping, Chu Lian and her dad act the best...Ariel Lin wouldn't really suit this role well, but she does act very well!

It's such a pity that ZJN got the role. Now I've been upset for a week since I got to hear that QY actually wanted to pick Ariel Lin in the beginning?I'm sure AL would be a perfect ZL..I guess It's no need to mention about ZJN's acting skills anymore. Now about the look, she's WAY too skinny + her eyes don't fit the character, they simply can't " shine ".

though I felt pity for Luping and I really hated Chulien

the part in france is necessary because they are so romantic and suitable - like someone else have said, I would have given up already because this series overall is a bit boring and dramatic

I am not anti this drama at all.I am an old lady which watched hundreds and thousands of Chinese and English dramas before. From the 70ties to 2007. Overall,I still like this drama but I only feel that the France part can be shorten and it will not affect the whole storyline if that part being shortened.

The previous actress like ChenDeRong and Chen Chen acted better in this character. The previous 2 Zhilin do not need any beautiful clothing to show up this character but Zhilin in this drama is like a doll. No outstanding expression all. She is just a mannequin here.

Zhilin marriage life in France is far away from realistic.She is like a "Barbie doll" there. Change her clothing so frequent. Staying in a castle with hundreds of servants serving them. May be people will say this is romantic but for me all this has made Zhilin character become so spoilt.

I also don't see any acting skill on this new actress who act "Zhilin" character.

I still think that Zhilin life in France is too long. I read this novel when I still in school. Even the book itself does not describe until so lengthy.

This story was made into a 2 hours movies in 70ties. A 2 hours movies also can conclude the whole book. A few years ago, there was also a drama based on this story. That drama is more reasonable where its only had about 30-35 episodes. The life in France took up about 15 episodes of the whole drama.

But I still think Zilin and YunFan story is too long and dragging. No important story there. Wasting a lot of time showing them do the sight seeing in France. Their conversation also make me goose bump.

I don't agree at all.What is shown in France is exactly what the story want to tell us,about the dream, the romantic love,all of these are the soul of the whole drama!!!How could it be if these scenes be cut off? I guess nobody won't like it then!

I find that this drama has too much ZhiLin and her husband married life. It is a bit boring to see too much of their daily life.
