i have bought 6 of these in the last two weeks. i LOVE EM. problem is though is that they take about a month to become hardy. so unformulated i have lost 4 within a week or so. got em replace, but does sadden me :(
@proto35 ya its sucks how many of them dont make it. eventually all of mine didnt make it. i had like 10 of them. they usually have some type of intestinal worms or something like that and that is what causes them to croak, the move to a new tank puts too much stress on their already stressed bodies and they die. there is a video somewhere on youtube that shows how they catch these little guys, in the wild they net hundreds at a time.
@austinpetemo thanks for the link again. what do you feed them btw? im trying to get them to eat zucchini but they havent learned the usual feeding area for my other fish, so im going to try to move it, just for them.
they are in a community tank, so dropping granules and such may be hard for them to eat as the other fish will get it first.
