I'm in fear that people are protesting about a system that has already failed. The very system providing the safety these very protesters protest. They protest a system, compared to most, generous to the masses. Yet protesters support their own demise through purchase of goods made in China, goods where eco-costs are externalized at the cost of domestic labour. The domestic labour that supports our standards and quality of life.

@Garrys300 No Amy is a trooper. She was one of the five people arrested at the 7 year squat in Ottawa 2003 who did not cop a plea before going to trial. Rather she went the whole nine yards including a constitutional challenge self defended. She and the other 4 beat the state and in the process exposed the massive cruelity to the homeless and protestors which eventually lead to quite a bit of reform.

It is unbelievable to me that I haven't seen a peep about these protests in the mainstream media. According to them, there were approx 1,000 protesters in Queen's Park, and that was it. Obfuscation of the truth is still a lie!

I'm in fear that people are protesting about a system that has already failed. The very system providing the safety these very protesters protest. They protest a system, compared to most, generous to the masses. Yet protesters support their own demise through purchase of goods made in China, goods where eco-costs are externalized at the cost of domestic labour. The domestic labour that supports our standards and quality of life.
Protesting the removal of grouping is simply moving furniture.

While the majority of people are safe, it's likely to get worse. I think freedom has to die before people see they're in danger, unfortunately. At least, that's been the unbroken historical trend.
