@clipsahoii It can be found on Sky7Anime & DramaCrazy. It's free on those sites & I figure it can be viewed on others as well. As for purchasing the DVD, you'll probably have to order it either online or from a local store.
Well, would you be happy, if you get in a new school and others put dirt in your shoes, ram you into puddles, write "DIE" on your desk and also steal and mistreat things of you (the kitten)?
If it is awful is still yout thinking. But I would get very angry and sad getting bullied this way.
The white flower on the desk means "The student here is dead", they dirtied her school shoes and her mother also seems to not treat her nicely (because she appears always dirty and wounded). If someone is bullied right after entering a new school, I don't know, if anyone could stay calm and simply endure it. Especially when you get "DIE!" written on your desk...
So do you know what the story is? Like why is there some dead chick in there that looks like Ju-On? Haha I didnt really get the story that well, only some parts.
Hikiko is not a ghost in the way ghosts are known. Hikiko is a little girl wich gets bullied in school and abused by her mother/parents. Her anger, despair and sadness kind of manifestes in her ghost version. In that form she is ranging, killing the childs and teacher which bully her. And the main person (a boy) is confronted with the ghost version stalking him while he befriends with the normal girl. So MAYBE (i don't know) gets it complicated, when the ghost also tries to kill him.
And I have read a summary of someone who seems to has seen the first half (but I don't know where it was).
I don't know why the ghost stalks him, but at least she doesn't seems to kill him (cause she easily can get into places where her victims think they are save).
Well, I just hope, it will get translated/subbed and the comes to america/europe ^^
there are a lot of stories like that, when someone is in so much pain, and has so much anger in there heart it will literally manifest into a SHITLOAD of negative energy. (which is why some people you warm up to quickly while others you just get the instinct to stay away from) but in this case her pain and sadness and anger were so great they manifested into a ghost that killed everyone she didn't like, including the boy but later when they became friends the spirit may leave the boy alone
At least I know as much as that (and it is possible, in Japan is believed that souls full of hate and despair can become ghosts or create demons. Hikiko would be the second)
sort of. the little girl is picked on so much she has a shitload of hatred, anger, and sadness in her heart. and she had so much negative energy it literally manifested into a physical being of hate (the ghost) which is why it goes around trying to kill everyone, including the boy. but since the boy and the girl become friends the ghost may leave the boy alone because she's not angry at him anymore
Hi everybody! From the official blog, the planned release date of the DVD is 2008-08-08 in Japan. I have confirmed that there is an entry about this DVD at Amazon Japan.
looking forward for the movie...but they can do much better on the girl scary sound tho'...its sounded funny and like she's struggling on something rather than giving the effect "man that's some scary sound" to me XD
This story seams like a rip off from the grudge and ringu. Why do Japanese make girls with really long hair the object of fears? It seems kind of silly to me. I use to teach english to a class of Japanese girls back in Japan and they were some of the most funniest kids I met. I from Canada orignally.
You actually taught English in Japan? That's what I would like to do once I graduate from college! Perhaps you could answer some questions I have about going there to teach? I don't know many people who have been teachers there and I would love some advice! Anyways, please respond back to me. And I have seen neither the grudge nor ringu, but as for the hair, I think its because the makers of horror have long hair fetishes. Lol. Hope you repond back!
I haven't checked this comment for a long time. Yes I was a teacher for a few months. I mostly taught adults. The only advice I can give is that get on a good english website. The kids are pretty fun if you have a lot of energy. Usually no one helps you come up with a lesson plan. You will have to learn by trail and error. No matter what just have fun. On the first day the kids seem pretty respectful but after that they are really crazy.
It's not the hair but rather the contrast between the long black hair and the white clothes. White is the color of death in Japanese culture and many people used to wear white to funerals. White is symbolic of asylums and hospitals..death. Most of the Japanese were initially fabricated to scare children into listening to their parents but some of these stories are based on aleged hauntings usually pertaining to people who were murdered by psychos or otherwise suffered unfair deaths.
The thing with the hair i easily solved in - for example - the fatal frame. In the fotos from the ghosts being alive, the woman nearly always have nice, combed hair that they pin up. Still all female ghosts in that game have their hair open and wild. That is, because in the japanese culture and tradition, open hair is something, vengeful ghosts wear, they don't care about their hair anymore. The white clothes are those of the dead. So such a woman is in Japan THE horror of all.
This is a really late response, but what the hell:
Well, you have to understand that Ringu was a huge, HUGE, influence on Japanese pop culture, especially their horror movies, like Ju-On (NOT The Grudge).
And the long hair-- It's tradition in Japan to take a woman's hair down when she dies, and to put her in white kimono.
the urban legend is that she killed herself in the 3rd stall and vowed that anyone who uses it would die. apparently this is what happens: you are using the stall you hear the 1st stall open a girls laughs and says "oops, not here." and does the same with the second stall. Then she opens the third stall (which you are in) and yells "HERE YOU ARE!". My advice, if you ever go to wherever the third stall is, DON'T USE IT!
